I'm glad to share with you guys some pics of our next project: Blue-ringed Octopus. All of these keycaps are made by my friend Apostle, an artisan keycaps maker from China.

Some thoughts from the maker, Apostle:
Each keycap is made by hand and each one has its own different colors and distribution of blue rings.
About 3D-printed technique, I want to say this is a remarkable leap of craftsmanship. But the efforts it takes keep the same when the author still has to spend lots of time in front the screen. It's like doing the same thing just using different tools, that's it. While I think there's no big difference between hand-modeling and digital modeling cause the problem we are dealing with are exactly the same: materials, details, dimensions and so on. Actually, I feel it's a bigger challenge to make keycaps using digital modeling as more technique problems come up compare to the conventional way.

I like the opaque grey one best. The single solid color shows off the details of the sculpt the best. Would love to see monotone black/charcoal, purple, or green, in that order of preference.
Love octopuses. Just read a book called 'Octopuses'. Was great.
I'd love to add another black and blue octopus to my collection.

Awesome design! I think that the Giant Pacific Octopus' coloring would fit that cap great. Dark enough to show the level of detail, with the contrast of the suckers really setting the design off.

It's from a previous GB in China. Due to high risk of damage, we are unable to run an international GB for them :-(

I think it's gonna be a GB, not a raffle, if not too many orders collected.
I would really like to see the EVA artisan comes true (Huge fan of it).
BTW, just wondering how did you get the matrix boards, I am figuring out where can I join the matrix GB.
Same problem of Rathalos, these artisans are quite vulnerable during international shipping especially going through customs check. So we can't do any sale for them at this time ;/
