Hi everyone, big news!
GMK Soyamilk
Thank you for your patience and wait, we managed to get the colour matching process down to two tries (which we are pleasantly surprised by). GMK got the Cream (RAL1015) keycap to a ΔE of 0.96 and the Blue (RAL 260 50 25) to a ΔE of 0.53. Find attached the images for your reference. I know we’ve been mostly quietly working on the project, but I would like to think that the results speak for themselves and we are quite happy to share them with you. We hope you are as excited about them as we are too.
So with that being said, we are happy to announce that as of this week, all colour samples for GMK Soyamilk is approved and it is officially in the queue for being manufactured.
NicePBT
Another big update is in regards of NicePBT, we have also been sampling multiple rounds of the keycap set in order to see the variations and fine tune the colour produced. We have gone through rounds of testing and feedback with the aim of getting it ready for launch.
We have decided upon a switch to an icon/text mod for the NicePBT set release. We did it to try something new and also differentiate the PBT set from the ABS one.
In respect to the more affordable pricing and material difference, the tolerances for the colours of NicePBT were greater, but we feel that we have approved the closest looking sample to the GMK colourset. It will be close, but not exact with the GMK set which is spot on with the colour references selected.
With that being said, I think everyone will be happy with this more accessible set in comparison to the GMK one; and we are happy to say that it is now in line for production as well.
More official information will be sent leading up to the release (kitting, price, etc etc), Vendors will be announced, and it will be launching as an instock set. Expect it sometime around Q4 of this year!

Just dropping in to confirm that we have approved the kitting with GMK and we are currently waiting in the production line for the set to be made. The current anticipated arrival date given to us by GMK is August of 2023!
