Hey, I have some of these from SP's grab bag last year, I'll check back tomorrow. Just cover shipping and you can have whatever I've got :)

*Pretty sure I've seen both shift sizes, might have a 1.5u mod. Don't think I have 6u space though.

That would be cool, could you grab a picture of the caps?

Don't see any more 1.5's, have another whole box to sift through though.

Awesome stuff Katzen! Alt would also be the preferred legends on the 1.5u mods, so that is just perfect!

I'll wait and see what else you might find until we make things official.

I suggest you ask around for a Deck/ TG3 spacebar. Lots of people have that TG3 police keyboard, which has very little market value. I'm sure they can give you that 6x.

I also have, but I am very reluctant to sell because I rotate and play with my TG3s. Unlike these people I didn't desolder mine to sell the switches.

Due to difficulty of getting the spacebar I strongly recommend you consider a standard size. Remember, when you produce the PCB and want to look for others to join the group buy, you need to convince people that they can find the keycaps easily.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

The GH60 already supports 6u spacebar, and since it's OSHW it'll be easy to make a few once the files are available.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion.

7bit got 6-unit DCS space bars in Round 4. A while ago you could also buy spare blank caps from SP, but I can not find that on their web site any more.

They used to have a PDF for offsales of every key they had overstock. They've since taken it down. Not sure why, they were making a killing if anyone was buying the caps @ $2.50 a pop.

If you exhaust all options you can ask me again. I should be able to sell all including the spacebar.

Let Katzenkinder solve this first, though.  :thumb: I really don't feel like combing through my keycap collection when someone may suddenly pop up with the keycaps and then my search time is wasted.

I will keep it in mind, I did not see katzen's edited post in time for the bump, hopefully I'll be able to finish my search. Poor keyboard has been sitting half naked on my desk for over two weeks now.

I've already got a CMStorm QuickFire Ultimate spacebar (not received yet though), so I have no idea how they did the stems in it or if it'll work for me. As far as I know there are no standard for stem positions in a 6u spacebar, Cherry has theirs, Signature Plastics has multiple stems, and I would not be surprised if Cooler Master did something differently.
Since I don't have anything to compare to at hand, I don't really have any measurements, something I'd love to get.

My suspicions were right, the CMStorm QuickFire Ultimate spacebar has completely different stabilizer mounts, center-to-center being 98mm.
I added it to the deskthority wiki: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Space_bar_dimensions#6_units_.28114mm_wide.2C_3_keymounts.2C_43.5mm_apart.29

If any of you good folks have a Cherry G80-1800 (or equivalent) spacebar and a caliper, please take a few seconds to measure the center-to-center of the stabilizers.
