Tater pics from iPhone with poor lighting, but got my KMAC LE.  Pretty sure it'll remain unique for it's two tone re-anodized look.  Not for everyone, but I like it! :)

18956-0

18962-3
Lights look pink in that picture, but they're red.  White LED on the Esc and Scroll Lock. (Which, I haven't actually seen light up since I'm on a Mac.)

On the negative, I had a lot of issues with binding stabilizers (mostly fixed via some bending) and stuck keys.  I think the stuck keys are due to a combo of too much lube and light (55g korean) springs on Clears.

18964-4

Anyway, just glad to finally get it.  Not my favorite typing feel, but it's interesting.

All ive got to say is that isnt too much lube. It may take a couple days out break in but its smooth as butter. Also I think the problem is the 55g spring which I did mention when he choose those.

Fair enough... you did mention that.  Amount of lube is subjective, so not saying you were wrong, but just that *with* the light springs, some of them stick with that much.  I desoldered the ones that were bad and removed a bit and they work good now.  Light springs on clear just doesn't give much margin for extra friction is all.

Also sorry about shipping it that way I didnt know they were sticking as I tested it without keycaps and the all functioned properly. I wouldnt have shipped it a not fully function state on purpose. They might not have stuck because the weight of the keycap wasnt there. Additionally please use it as your main board for up to a week and report back if you could they should get smooter and quicker as time goes along and lube moves around.

Wow all these look so nice and colorful. This thread is probably the most decorative keyboards with all the LEDs, plates, and keycaps all with color. It reminds me of the unicorn vomit thread, except these actually look nice.

lol that's a shiz ton of lube. It's suppose to be a thin coat, not a big glob. It gums up your switches when you have that much.

The color scheme is very patriotic. Completely different color top and bottom case means you don't have to worry about not having exact color match between the top and bottom case. I know some people complain about the stock anodizing not having the same exact colors.

Exactly. But TheProfosist seems to think that is a correct amount. We're not making fun of you, Prof, we're trying to help you. When you start building other people's Phantoms, etc., please don't use that much lube inside the switches. Just a thin layer spread over the slider surface will be enough for the lifetime of the switch.
