As an avid D3 player, it has come to my mind to attempt a dyesub using the Diablo font, but not being able to dye brighter on dark put me off so far. E.g. red legends on black keys. I think centered font on DSA would suit the theme best. Also, original set?
Well, there's always the chinese company that's making those reverse dyesub DSA knockoffs of Carbon.

Not a huge fan of SA, but I would support it as long as the set didn't get too huge (read: expensive) and it was fully sculpted.

Yup, that is where I found the picture. I have the original set that was run years ago, but really wanted the gamer and ISO sets from massdrop.
SP doesn't leave much room for profit. I also have no interest in running this, but will gladly do some of the legwork in getting it set up.

hmm, this is pretty interesting. if we were to run with SP, the choice was either go DSA or SA. DSA is kind of.. meh right now, so i think SA will be a interesting choice.
if we were to go with GMK, i think the problem is how do we make this sanctuary feels.. sanctuary, or else we won't get any better than "another-GMK-set".

Hey Sherry can MOD Keyboard \ MaxKey be a viable option? Saw some pictures on Reddit it didn't seem that bad if people are interested in SA profile. Not sure how other people think about them, though.
As for the novelty idea, maybe we can have an icon of popular skills based on the character. For example:

Is there a way to do this in GMK with custom font? I mean considering T0mb3rry for example is having them make custom moulds for completely revamped Cyrillic legends I assume there's no reason they can't make them for he Diablo font.
It will be expensive though of course but given regular legends would be moot point for this particular set (in my opinion) the costs would be cut down a fair bit compared to doing a separate kit entirely.
PS: I'd be down for doing this in double shot DSA if anything, centered legends would look great and I think the Diablo font would be way easier/cheaper to attain that way and the production times are completely off the rails like SA is. SA wouldn't really fit the motif either in my opinion, caps are too bulky for the feeling the set tries to pass off I'd say.

Figured, Yuri's Cyrillic will probably be priced similarly but it'll sell a bunch and be made cheaper because of that I guess. At $300 per set obviously that won't work, $200 might but 300's too crazy even for fanatics. Plus accounting for novelties which are a big part of this set the price would be totally fkd.
Shame though, I'm sure it'd look great in GMK, I love their blacks and reds.

You'd be limited to dark legends on bright keys, so red on black won't work for example. But yeah it wouldn't require new molds to be made, that's definitely a plus.

The team that created Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 were dissolved alongside with Blizzard North and their original proposals for Diablo 3 were abandoned.
Diablo 3 then was created by a totally new team - the art work, the gameplay, the lack of 'darkness' in its style are all pointing to the fact that they are drastically different creation.
Yeah, Diablo 3 was fun too - for the first few weeks.

Diablo 3 then was created by a totally new team - the art work, the gameplay, the lack of 'darkness' in its style are all pointing to the fact that they are drastically different creation.
Yeah, Diablo 3 was fun too - for the first few weeks.

Still holding out hope for Sanctuary. With XDA, Evan's new "sculpted DSA" profile, the other new cherry profile PBT I've been hearing about or just plain ole DSA, I see no real reason to not pursue this after this current key set craze (10~ GMK sets ran in such short time etc) is over with.
With the launch of Laser after Legacy on MD, a pretty big opportunity should arise.

Then is it possible to have things like dye-sub laser-etched Diablo fonts?
I do not mind paying a bit more for it if the dye-sub laser-etched is like the work of those CYM modifiers of EnjoyPBT - they of of decent quality like the laser-etched caps of Ducky. It can be white dyed to red (or deep orange, like diablo's fire red) and white dyed to dark grey to dark brownish black, and have the legends be laser-etched back to white.

We can even test the interest of this set among the gamer's channels.
I think keeping the original font set and the red and black / dark theme is very important.

I do wonder how much a quote from GMK would be though. Probably still be far too expensive since we'd "need" F row, home cluster AND numpad in the special font in addition to the alphas even if we used the full icon mod moulds that GMK now owns (thanks to Yuri and Laser).

DCS is horrible - I have to say first - for the fact that their cap thickness is like paper-thin.
I have DCS, DSA, SA, GMK, JTK, EnjoyPBT PBT, POM at home, and DCS can serve me for decoration purpose, i.e. good for the numeric row and above. It feel horrible to type on these super thin DCS caps.
In terms of thickness and feel of typing, let's set aside the profile of caps at the moment, then I will rank:
POM = PBT > GMK = JTK >= SA >> DSA >>> DCS
I agree with some of your points:
1. JTK Bred has a similar color theme, but I am not sure how willing and what is the MOQ for JTK to have custom caps like here.
If JTK can make custom decoration sets for this set, I am both hands and both feet up to support.
2. The SA profile follows / was inspired by the heritage of IBM Selectric Typewriter key cap profile in the 1960s and 70s. For sure the profile is a bit outdated as people do touch type and do not whole arm movement as much during typing compared to the old days. However, SA is still quite usable when paired with heavier switches and tried out with a short adapting period.
The upside of SA is that SA is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing when we look at the caps as sculptures, and the doubleshot artwork on SA caps, due to its semi-gloss finish is also the most clearly visible. And in terms of wall thickness and pressing feel, SA is definitely rock solid.
3. I personally think DSA is cute, but is more suitable for ortholinear and smaller keyboards, like the Planck, or the Subatomic. Uni-profile like the DSA does not facilitate reach when the keyboard size gets larger.

its true :P I mean I was being a bit overly dramatic.. I do get frustrated everyone wants everything ran in SA Profile. I do think SA looks really nice just typing on them for me is not pleasant. I do wonder if R3 I think its called SA is better on the typing but I don't know I only ever had 1 set of SA and I tried my darnedest to like them.

The fonts should be Exocet font but can't show at KLE as said.
but in Cherry PBT and less like the original red on black I'd probably bite. The red on black is less exciting and I'd probably pass.

<spoilers again> maybe i'll make a black on red roman number row as a separate accent kit, as i want red on black roman number row as well.. or vice versa. there's so much things to think right now :))
