hello, guys
I am looking for a portable board such as the KBC poker or similar with costar stabilizer. Does such a board exist?
-
Only mini keyboard with costar I can think of is the noppoo choc mini. have you looked into that?
-
356 mini?

have you had any experience with the choc mini? Are they as good as Filco when it comes to typing experience?

Is that really costar? The keys feel so wobbly on the 3 noppoo's I had
-
just take off the key and inspect it.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the Tenkeyless CM storm quickfire is made by costar, and should have costar stabilizers.

I had 3 different noppoo choc mini's and all of them had wobbly spacebar and enter

Thanks for the suggestion but CM storm TKL is not exactly portable. I am looking for something similar in size to the KBC poker.

What's wrong with the poker?
It's a lovely board

I don't like cherry stabiliser
-
Deck 82 or Data911 TG3: It has no stabilizers on the shifts/enter/backspace, so it feels great. Only the spacebar has a (cherry) stabilizer, however for the spacebar a cherry stabilizer may be not as bad as it would be for shift/enter/backspace.

cherry stabilizers > costar stabilizers
-
cherry stabilizers > costar stabilizers
lol nice. I actually found that both are likable but thumbs up for Bini!

cherry stabilizers > costar stabilizers
yeah right...
just like Asian ****s > Black ****s

Well, it's the common issue with the costar type stabilizers, and it is easy to fix this problem.
It's because of the holes of the stabilizers not being snug up against the stabilizing wire. The wiggle room lets the keycap bounce around. One have to apply some grease to the stabilizer inserts, or using tape on the wire to fix that.

Given that Geekhack is 99% Asian I'd be careful with that generalization.
WTF,,, is this true????

Do we need to start making sarcasm signs?

There's a link for a $50 TG3 BL82 (Deck 82) in the Great Deals forum. If you don't mind MX Black switches, the PS/2 connector, and the fact that you'll need your own mat and feet for it, I think it'll work nicely for your purposes.
