I honestly don't understand why there's so much drama regarding the naming. janglad already explained why it's named Modern Dolch Light and Dixie posted a render visually depicting how Modern Dolch Light is derived from Modern Dolch. That's more than enough justification.

Re-naming to Muted R2 makes no sense since the original runner of Muted is no longer actively involved in the community as far as I'm aware, and has already turned down others who have approached him to try to re-run Muted.

It's clear that concerns regarding the naming have been voiced and received without change. If you still have such a big problem with the naming, protest with your wallet and just don't buy the set.

These big vendor GMK ICs are getting so perfected and machined to the point where it doesn't feel like there is a lot of room for suggestions/actual beneficial changes.
So we end up having multiple pages of people either saying they are going to buy it, or cling onto the one thing that feels wrong about the set, in this case being the name lmao

Yes - R3/R4 PgUp/PgDn in base. I guess if those two keys push the base into a different price bracket I get it. This set is going to sell over 1k+ though so it would be nice if there were a few keys added in, like with what happened to Metro/Bento.

I just find it ignorant and quarrelsome to call someone out for "opportunistic marketing" on a forum devoted to "Interest" checks - the entire IDEA of this forum is to see if the OPPORTUNITY to run something exists.

My apologies for trying to continue a friendly conversation and stick to the topic of the thread. However, your answer does not help clarify my confusion. I never once stated that I disliked this set, in fact, I very much like it. I would most definitely participate in this if I did not currently own a similar set. Perhaps if enough interest was generated to influence some minor design changes, I would be willing to purchase myself a set. I was unaware that users are not allowed to participate in the conversation of interest checks even if there is a high probability of not joining the group buy. Are we not allowed to encourage changes in the design?
