Time to get your evil on.

Kitting:


A familiar kit from me, includes support in base for most popular layouts including Alice, 40s and ISO.


A monotone kit, get your henchman in it’s birthday suit.


Novelties, dress up your keyboard.


In line with Jae from Prototypist’s awesome initiative, a UK ISO kit will be including in all base kit sales in the region.

Collaborations:

A Hibi collab TBA.

Would like to also do some artisan collabs, reach out if you're keen  :D

Colours:

Colours have been chosen to evoke the most evil.

Yellow: Pantone 13-0851 Minion Yellow
Blue: RAL 250 50 30 Prominent Blue
Black: GMK CR
Grey: RAL 260 60 05 Seal Grey

Manufacturing samples are being organised by Keykobo to confirm matching to my physical Pantone and RAL cards.

Vendors and Pricing:

I'm targeting a similar price to Miami Nights with this one if possible, around $95 for the base kit.

Dates:

Would like to have this go into GB around June 20th.

Changelog:

Uploaded board renders
Updated other renders to include row numbers
Added second 2.25u shift key to Base and Alt mods (To support 660 layout and type-k)
Added a set of R2 novelties to support nav cluster novelty usage (This won't effect price on the kit too much, most of the cost is the molds)

I wonder if it would be possible to give this set the Greg treatment, to shape out a pair of goggles amid the yellow alphas. I think it would be more on brand for a playful theme like the Minions. It could be bundled with the yellow mods.

I did try playing around with this idea as it was the first thing that came to mind, unfortunately it just didn't really look good no matter what layout I attempted. The row stagger on keyboards really doesn't lend itself to a goggle shape.

This would look great next to the Minion router.

Added vendors for all regions except US and CA.

Doing up new renders with an extra 2.25u shift key. Also working on board renders right now.

Keykobo is currently organising colour samples.

Could the 1U novelty designs to enable XT kitting that would fit the row profiles R1–R4 be a consideration?

Unfortunately the cost to do so would be quite considerable. I was playing around with options but couldn't come to anything that wasn't cost prohibitive/worked well in terms of layout.
