G80-3000LSCDE (105 key) matrix
« on: Sat, 13 June 2009, 14:24:54 »
This is the matrix assignment of a G80-3000LSCDE-2 (105 keys, ISO layout). PCB date is 44/08.
This could be used to get it working on a programmable keyboard controller, for deciding whether certain key combinations can be pressed or for sawing off entire parts and adapting the controller PCB.

Pin reference.

Matrix. (Uses the German keyboard layout for reference)

As can be seen, it uses an 8x18 matrix.

G80-3000LSCDE (105 key) matrix

Looks very much like a Model M matrix with Win keys added (so it is the M-like matrix as I suspected). It only grew from 16x8 to 18x8 to have individual columns for LWin and RWin, a bit of a luxury.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D
