Got this baby today, and building a new stick, but that case really sucks:

What kind of stick are you building?
A rather big pen drive, mainly for my photo library! The case is a little bit wobbly with the M2 drive scratching on the case - I have to add a sticker or tinker something, like using a sliding adhesive.
Do those work out pretty well. I've never considered making a M2 usb drive.
madhias, what are you gonna use that for? for saving pics while travelling? or as some kind of portable backup for your photos?
The main idea was that this will be my main library to work with, files and pictures – currently I use a external HDD, and I am mostly too lazy to put it out and plug it in, also when working with the notebook (I even duck taped once the HDD on the back of the screen). With this M2 and USB3 it should be fast enough, usable on all machines I use, and especially the real size / data size / speed ratio is nice :)
My totally evil plan would be install Linux on the stick on BTRFS, create a SMB share, and load it up as VM and accessing the files via a network share – but why? I don't know. It just sounds awesome.
