Hello everyone,

The Cherry Logo (Base CR and Legend V1) keycap by GMK was just the idea from me in the november 2015, and arrived in my warehouse in January 2016. That's maybe the 1st time to make the customized icon key from GMK except Code keycap. We ordered amount 5000 for it only as gift to the Cherry fans but not for sales at that time, most Cherry fans really loved it. Regarding as the GMK Cherry Logo pack, I am not willing to tell anything about it, but Michael, the head of PR and Marketing of Cherry, tells me that it will not happen again.

Regarding as the MX Logo keycap, beause the “MX” keyswitch – a milestone and model of success par excellence. The first module – introduced by CHERRY on 7 November 1983 – is still produced by the millions and used in many keyboards. It guarantees the reliability that is so typical for CHERRY.

MX innavation time line:

1983 MX Black [U9 and CR]
1987 MX Blue [U9 and N5]
1992 MX Brown [U9 and BR1 new color]
2008 MX Red [U9 and V1]
2014 MX RGB
2015 MX Silent
2016 MX Speed

Unknow MX White and Clear [CR and WS1]

Regarding as the Breaking Bad keycaps, It's already done by SP, However, I really both love the GMK and Breaking Bad drama,
So the render is also here. But I am so very surprised by the high set-up costs for two new legend toolings. It will raise up the quoted price only for the two keycaps.

Pricing and Renders:

1. MX Logo Kit [5 keys]
Pricing: $14
MOQ: No need

2. Cherry Logo kit [4 keys]
Pricing: $13
MOQ: No need

3. MX & Cherry Logo kit [9 keys] = kit 1+ kit2
Pricing: $26
MOQ: No need

4. Breaking Bad kit [2 keys and 1 GMK Logo keycap as gift]
Stepped pricing: $15 / $14 / $12.5
MOQ: 150 / 250 / 500

Shipping:
US – USPS First Class ($5)
International – USPS First Class ($15)

The shipping fee is charged as actual fee. I will refund extra fee back to you if the actual fee not reach the $5 or $15.
It is no need shipping fee again if you already buy the GMK Classic set and will ship all the kits at the same time.

The MX and Cherry Logo wil not change any more,
And the Breaking Bad kit will die maybe due to the high pricing, but I wanna have a try it.

Of course,

All the keycaps above are made by double-shot. Cause it is two color not three color or more.

Some of fresh new legends and symbols for GMK!

BTW, is it easy to make a request for producing keycaps with new legends, which means it will need new molds?
And can you also show any color sample to match GMK's new color codes?

I am sorry for that GMK send me the new color BR1 as Brown Color. But not the sample keys color photo to me.

GMK make the double-shot keycap via the mould, some new legend totally change the shape and position,
So they must creat the new mould for doing the new legend keycaps.

But the GMK could not creat the new key mould by themself, it's by another company, maybe Cherry, I guess.
Because I went to the Cherry factory in the last year. and tour in the mould workshop. And the Cherry Auerbach is so close to town of GMK company.

The mould is like this, the mould in the photo is for the car. The mould is steel or some other material metal.

Really interesting GB, but I struggle to convince myself that it is worth spending 15$ on international shipping to get a couple of ESC keys

There is no sample keycap photo.
It's a kind of White color but not so pure white like WS1(UN0001).
