Like to be honest if you're just going to take this over without my consent you better be willing to at least do what I want with it. Many don't like dealing with the Round 4 ordering process including myself, and if I have you do it that means the keycaps get sent to Germany and back before I get them. In addition I don't get any control, say, or anything for that matter. All I end up doing is shelling out $450– $500+ including my order to get it run.

If you could let me know what the perl string would be for my order that would be much appreciated and I'll send a PM to the bot. I looked at doing an order a long time ago in R4 and gave up out of frustration.

The Bloodspot legend should either be Backspace, Annihilate, Eradicate, or something to that extent. Honestly I don't care too much though, since I'm going to be using Nyancat for that anyways. Same with the modifiers. I'd say nobody uses super and meta except Linux users but mine are SC2.

Bloodspot was just a joke. So it will be Backspace.

I could include winflag or diamond and the menu logo instead.

Tenkless and Tkl are the difference between a cheapskate and a mega-tkl kit. (more keys vs less keys... see the Wiki for specifics).

yeah i just read that in the wiki, however it does not explain the spacebar thing.
what is the difference between the different spacebar codes? and why the blood/space for cmstorm?
is it a sizing thing? or a mounting type?

Its a spacing thing on the stem-mounts. Leopold has a closer-to-middle outside stem style while Costar (Filco/Storm/etc) has a towards-the-outside style. Its about a 1cm difference.

Okay so this is on for sure, and I will be starting it up next week. Its time for everyone to get their input in on what they would like to do with modifier keys, though as many of you may know this is meant to be pretty standard and the simpler the better. I am perfectly content with just using the standard for everything, and the only custom legend being the execute key. If you guys want to play with the modiifers you can, but it may or may not work for Melissa or myself, so no promises.

Again, I would greatly like to see 50 sets, because it is much cheaper for everyone. If we get really close to that, I will buy a couple of extras (no more than 3-4) to give everyone the discount and share it. I will then sell those off for whatever profit I can make, but if I do that odds are that I won't be able to sell them quickly or at all, since everyone interested will likely already have one.

I wanted to ask about this, but he wants to keep it simple.

My round 3 stepped caps lock's stem isn't in the same place as my cherry for some reason. Can't use with my DK

I think it's pretty simple, since it's not even a standard kit so no one has to get it, but this way the 40ish people that got the 1.5x Modifier Phantom can use it too, which opens up a whole new market

Personally, as a mac user, I would love to do a command/apple key instead of windows for once, but yeah probably windows/menu. Since I'm sure they have the apple mold, it may not be significantly different to offer both... but at the end of the day I'm probably going to leave all my mods the way they are with all the SC2 keys so it isn't a critical thing to me. Feel free to chime in though, this is our last chance to get input in, once I put the order thread up, ****'s final.

TLDR: We are not doing super/meta. I just haven't gotten the time in to change this picture.

Things I want to change: (? means thoughts appreciated)
Backspace instead of Back Space
Replace super control and meta with Ctrl Alt and Win/Apple?
Esc instead of Escape
Print Screen instead of Print, pause/break instead of pause???
Slightly smaller letters, but not really small, basically the standard modern size. That may just be the image ?
Arrows on the shift keys and tab key?
Arrows on the up down left right keys

Pretty sure we are doing universal fit spacebars to go with it, so (pretty much) everyone can get a backup spacebar that fits the profile etc. If nobody cares about getting one, then we can probably have it dropped to save on costs. Would probably cut a couple of bucks.

Edit: Not entirely sure what those options entail, but yeah I would like to keep it simple. If you guys have a compelling argument and a better explanation as to what is involved feel free to pm it.

Yeah I definitely want a 1.5x alt/control and spacebar to fit it. Same with stepped caps lock IF the stem is in the right place.

Basically there are around 40 1.5x modifiers Phantom that was ordered, all the keys we normally do only have 1.25x modifiers, so people will be just using cherry sets. If possible I propose a kit that will solve some of those issues

2 Alt (1.5x)
2 Control (1.5x)
2 Diamond/Meta/Super (1x keys)
1 Stepped Caps
1 1800 Shift (1.75x)
1 Spacebar (7x)

These 9 keys as a add on kit, so people with filco/leopold etc etc can stick with the standard kit but for those people using Phantom, Cherry 1800, etc can pick up the add on kit.

This really doesn't complicate too much, since like I said all the people using modern keyboards can stick with the standard set, BUT if you want to use it for all those other keyboards this set is able to support that via a add-on kit which will ONLY help the people that want to buy the standard kit since it will drive the price lower from more people being in on the GB

These extra keys would make this bad boy Phantom compatible. I'd pay extra for them as well.
