Yah we need a us proxy that seems kind of silly for them to jump around like that.

Question!

So these keys are going from US -> Germany then back to US for most of us?

that's how the TL keycap went lol.

US -> Sweden (i think)-> US

I doesn't seem like it would be that bad even for the people in the US. I'm not sure how he does it, but his postage prices are insanely cheap. It would cost just as much for him to post it to the US than it would cost for someone in the US to post it to someone else in the US.

You think so? At that price what's it take 3 weeks to ship. That would suck.

Ah well I guess you guys are used to the faster shipping times. Being from Australia, shipping prices have always seemed more important to me (since I'm already expecting it to take at least 3 weeks in the mail). My bad and hopefully you guys can get that sorted then. I'm just happy for once the shipping is so cheap haha.

Oh, and count me in for a set.

If mbc can't work out something with SP to ship straight to North American people, I'd be down to pay more for quicker shippping

It's priority mail, takes a week
i recommend the 5.50 version since it allows much bigger packages

Priority mail takes a week from germany for 5 bucks? Really. Thats pretty fast. I know coming from the US it states 6-10 business days but varies because it uses the local post once it gets there.

I would consider taking the US orders if need be. I know I'm pretty new here but just putting it out there.

Also with the yellow key are we set on a diamond? Seems like a big black diamond will stand out compared to the thin lettering of the other keys. I would personally prefer blank.

Does that mean I'd have to drive over to Huntington Beach to pick them up in person? :car: Or do you have a small airport nearby? :plane:

Yep, since the legends are black anyway, it makes the most sense to have it be PBT. The two keyboards I use most are 100% PBT, and I wouldn't want to sully my CMstorm with ABS RGB kits.

'course PBT is more expensive, but I think it's well worth it. Since the profile is the same, it is okay to have PBT RGB mixed in with doubleshots.

I would also like to note that SP's PBT solves some of the problems ripster has mentioned in his GLWIC topic. I wonder how much time he's taken to examine his NYANcat set.

But then the texture is a lot different then a set of doubleshots. Not that SP's DS's are smooth like cherry's. But wouldn't PBT be even more so. I guess everyone isn't using them with Cherry keys.

last thing I shipped to the US this way was sent on the 8th and I received positive feedback on the 17th 00:17 so 8 days. might take a little longer or shorter but it's a reasonable timeframe

SP's PBT is not that smooth. It's a lot like IBM's PBT. 'coure give it a fer years, and it'll all be the same anyway.

Has anyone else noticed that the legends on SP DS are smoother than the body? Anyone with one of those yellow diamond keys run your fingernail over the diamond, then the yellow part.

I was actually thinking about doing that exact thing a few weeks ago, so I ordered the PBT color ring from SP...but seeing how much interest this has gotten, now I'm not sure if I would have time to run it. :) There are so many GB's going on right now, it seems like another GB that's so similar should be put off for a month or two to give everyone's wallet a break.

I'll take 15 winkeyless  sets and 6 Standard sets.
And I would very much like some 1x yellows to go with the Winkeyless sets.
If so, I will order much more winkeyless sets. :-)
Please PM me if you have any questions.

I WILL HAVE TO DOUBLECHECK THIS FOR ERRORS TOMORROW
YBP keys and red escape are now part of every set

current prices with 75x Standard and 40x Winkeyless

24,67 Winkeyless incl. 2xY1.0 and Esc
19,44 Standard incl. 2xY1.25 and Esc
2,12 Esc
4,60 2x Y1.00
3,74 2x Y1.25

for 100x Standard and 50x Winkeyless

20,93 Winkeyless
17,64 Standard

in other words we get 3 additional keys and pay 3-4 dollar more.
I will see if it is possible to lower the prices even more (that whole set vs. single key stuff...) but that will mainly effect the Standard set i think

Orders start tomorrow, i will PM ppl. from the list with details and open new thread

This is all just the interest check right? People are starting to make this sound like the actual order thread!! <- Doesn't want to miss out!

I mentioned my interest in an earlier post, but I'm not in the OP too, hope that doesn't matter since it looks like we have plenty of interest.
