The cost was close to 1000 euros with the customs and stuff, I think it's worth the money, being able to acquire keycaps that pushes keyboards one step closer to perfection (relative to one's own views, of course)
Think of it this way, we all have laptops and computers that cost the same and usually last 2-3 years, yet these keycaps will last a lifetime, and there are 250 of them, that's how I easily justify the cost
While I'm a capitalistic greedy person myself, I don't have any intention to make any profit from these keycaps, I actually intend to give them free at this point, I just couldn't find a way to distribute them
This is roughly my plan,
- Asses the interest
- Somehow prioritise current Dolch set owners, it's complicated because someone can own 5 sets for example and need 5+ pairs
- It's simple if the interest is <200
- Send 2 shipments of keycaps to US/EU, to someone(s)* who can take the time to individually ship them to people
The second plan is to struck a deal with a Vendor that can handle the shipping and simplify things, as the original plan is very complex
Haven't decided what to do yet, don't have much free time lately, I will likely revive the original brainstorming thread and asks for help there once I make up my mind
There is also an alpha-coloured Tab in the set by the way (for 60%'s), there are 3 keycaps in total
