Can anyone confirm that the modifiers and shift for pure's are covered by the Tsangan add-on kit?

Did you consider promoting this GB over at DT? Or even some korean boards?

I'm actually looking for some insight in to how that would be received over there, if anyone uses deskthority and could let me know whether crossposting it there would be appreciated or not, I'd be thankful.

I heard from soulfree that it has already been promoted on OCN/KBD, but I don't speak any Korean so I can neither confirm or promote it myself there. Anyone interested feel free though!

And without mass spam PMs!

I'm asking a personal opinion on how receptive their community is to group buys vs ours, as when I looked in their classifieds section there weren't very many, nor was there a section for it. I wanted to know if these guys want group buys to stay on GH and those that want in just come here... or not.

DT's marketplace is not organized well. Has no sections.
We Europeans are quite cool, no worries.
If you still have any, ask webwit. He'll help.

It doesn't hurt to make a post over there letting them know that there's a GB going on...

Worst case scenario would be they delete your post, which wouldn't be to their benefit seeing as though you're just trying to be helpful to those who may be interested in a Red Alert set and have not had the means by which to attain one.

I posted threads for my RGBY and moogle group buys on DT and got a pretty meager response.  I suspect it's because most people who care about group buys are on GH as well.

Yeah about then.

Also OP updated, counts are looking great here as well. Already over 75 in 4 days for the base set and the modifier kits already have more than I was expecting us to get overall. Need more grey mods/tsangan kits though! Its time for those that scoffed at the red mods as looking gaudy to step it up!

I'd still make it a point to mention it at DT. Just because there wasn't a huge turnout for RGBY caps and Moogle kits doesn't mean people aren't looking to by full sets.

Did I miss an option to get the custom glyphs for the modifier keys (like in the first RA buy)?  I never even saw that one go by me and I'd love it if there was an option in this buy to replicate it as closely as possible (e.g. red-on-white modifiers, all custom glyphs).

This goes for everyone considering it, but you might as well put in what your final order would be @ _____ quantity. You have the option to change your order up until you pay your invoice, though if you order more to hit the next discount after orders close the price doesn't go down, because I will have already sent the majority or all of the invoices and I'm not resending them because its a lot of work. If you would order more at the "Target Price" I listed in the OP, do so, because that is where I am highly confident we will reach. The more people that do that, the faster we get there, and the more momentum the thread has the bigger it will end up.

Will update quantities later, going to be moving around a bunch over the next few days, so if you don't see many updates that's why. I always try though.

Also shipping news: (copied from the updated OP)
I went to the post office yesterday and all domestic orders will be receiving delivery confirmation, while it is looking like international orders can't. Though I will try. Larger international orders will have insurance either way though, so even if the order is lost, you get your money back.

Not that much actually, a more detailed explanation is available in the descriptions of the sets in the OP, but max is 3 base sets. And by max 3 base sets I mean max. The box starts to bulge. You can fit maybe some biohazard keys in with it, but none of the other kits.

Did the Red/Black set use this typeface?

Isn’t doing group buys pretty much business? Somehow you have to avoid taxes on your volume, and just pay them on income.

I think the IRS has a number of years criteria...

Quote from: Findlaw.com
Determining Whether Sales Are Hobby or Business
Income made from online sales can be reported to the IRS as "hobby income" if the sales activity qualifies as a hobby according to the IRS, i.e. sale without the intention of making money. For example, a recreational photographer selling a photo on eBay should report the sale as hobby income. One test is whether the seller has made no profit from the hobby in two of five consecutive years. If the income does qualify as a hobby income, sellers can deduct hobby expenses from the income but cannot use hobby losses to offset other non-hobby income.

Link.  My GFs dad sells baseball cards on Ebay (thousands per year) and hobby losses is how he offsets the taxable hobby income.

Schedule C on your 1040 Federal Return is what you have to fill out, if your losses > your gains, that loss gets subtracted from your overall taxable income = you pay less taxes.
