Yeah the pure. I got it over the Poker for the Esc and funtion layout and figured the shift key wouldn't pose any problems due to the Tsangan kits, completely forgot about the tilde. >.< There's also a serious lack of novelty keys in that profile to cover for it.

I guess I can just put a star/diamond key there.

The OP has 12 uploaded pictures.  2-4 show the gray modifiers.  Will the actual color be closer to pictures 2 and 3 (which show a tan or beige hue) or closer to pictures 4 and 5 (which show more of a true gray color under the flash)?  Pictures 2 and 3 look closer to the mock-up shown in picture 7, which I prefer.

Pictures 2-4 are of the exact same set.  2-3 are taken under more natural lighting and the colors of the modifiers might be off-set a little due to the creamy white Filco case.  In any case, picture 7 is a representation/mock-up but 2-4 is what it will really look like under different lighting and keyboard conditions.

Rag...you should check out tsangan's Cream Cheese & Green issue with center stepped stepped capslock key caps.  SP has their own meaning to center stemmed for stepped caps locks.

Update: Center stemmed stepped caps lock keys are not possible according to Melissa, so we will not be offering them in this set. I assume Tsangan isn't going to be happy about that when he hears that his CCnG set won't be getting them either. I will be revising the base set so that just the spare Geek Hack key Esc is included and not the stepped caps that is impossible. That also means that the proposed change to the mod sets to add a stepped caps is no longer feasible and that change will not be made. The off center stem stepped caps will remain in the tsangan kit however. Expect the update to the OP when I get the revised quotes from Melissa.

Only thing holding me back from ordering.

Front printing is pad printing... and adds significant cost. I really don't want them personally but the bigger problem is that so many orders have been taken already I don't want to bump prices. If everyone was to say the want them then fine but I never got the memo that they were supposed to be and its awfully late to be asking those sorts of changes. I said the same about the center stem stepped caps but was working on getting approval from the larger orders till sp said no. That won't work here because unlike the mod kits there are plenty of just base kit orders that would need to sign off on it too.

This is the first I heard of it. Note no mention of it in the OP or in the interest check thread... I'd like to see a quote of where I said that. In the Ragnarok group buy, I said that the "Print" key would be fixed for the next round, nothing else. Again, the only ones fighting for it are you, Dan and Kyljoy. I need more than the desires of 3 people to add a dollar to 150-200 orders. The way Melissa made it sound in the email made it seem like it would be more than that but I'll ask anyways. Also since I don't want to have a set of 3 pad printed keys and the rest doubleshots they'd either have to be 3 additional keys or doubleshots that received just the side printing as pad printing. Not sure if that is even possible or what the cost difference is.

@ Longweight, yeah I'm pretty sure. I don't have one though so I'm not exactly sure what the requirements are. Others will know better.

a print screen doubleshot keycap with "sys req" front printed. and a pause doubleshot key with break front printed

I was unaware that those keys were doubleshots that had pad printing too. I thought the whole thing was pad printed, which I wasn't interested in. I'll ask for the quote from Melissa then and see if we can substitute that for the decrease in cost from losing the stepped caps. The price would probably stay the same if the stepped caps is gone.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.  My OCD is more severe than yours b/c I think having only two keys with front printing flanking one without front printing would make me nervous LOL.

I never did get a response from Sixty. I have no means to get in contact with Uranium myself, so if anyone knows him and would be willing to translate a message into Korean for me I'd like to try that. Otherwise it looks like we're stuck with standard legends. I'll send Sixty another reminder.

Even with removing the center stemmed stepped caps, its still a $2 increase. Just got the email back from Melissa. Sorry but I'm going to pass on it, its just not worth another $2 increase this late in the ordering process. I'll keep it in mind for the next group buy though, as there'll always be more. Waiting on the quote from Melissa so I can potentially lower the prices now that the center stemmed stepped caps is out.
