It’s an issue even without LEDs, but especially with 2x3x4 ones. Has to do with the switch orientation itself. If you’re using silent switches, it’s extremely noticeable. Tactile/clicks, much less so, since it’s already a symphony of clacks.
The issue is (depending how you label the rows) on the “tab” /QWERTY row.
So, either use a different profile keycap with silent switches, or cherry profile with tactile/clicks. The one combo that doesn’t work is silent + cherry profile.
Again, not the end of the world. Just was curious if anyone had other suggestions. Thanks for the boards that were suggested!
