Possibility to hide threads/comments

is it possible to implement something to hide threads or comments? (so they don't pop up ever again)


for example I don't want to see these when I browse this forum:

if i could piggy back.. can we do something better for the block list? simply hiding the post doesn't work. would it be too much to completely remove it? even if all it shows is that the person you blocked posted.
