Potatobot confirmed this is GMK stock color CR so your space keys will work. I’d hoped for purply split bars but I am mostly just glad this is gonna run.

Nice to see this happening after being in IC for so long. It has to be the record holder for that

Just a bit of shame that some of thr bottom row novelties are not available in 1.5u as i won't be able to use the black lotus novelty in my tsangan layout.
Kind of a shame considering the black lotus is the topic of the set

I guess there is no chance to change anything now.

Buy the spacebars kit and trade the purple bars for black ones. Go to mechmarket and ask, there's a lot of sets that use this color black. Originative used to sell them individually but they're out.

Just make sure you also don't need F1-F4, or F5-F8.

I gotta say, the lackluster effort on this gb is.. disappointing. There is no hiragana render, and the renders we do have are almost bad enough to turn me away after waiting patiently for this over a year. Shiny. Why shiny...

Any word on updated numbers from proxies? TKC numbers are not looking good for anything other than the base kit and novelties. If all proxies come in and we're a few orders short of MOQ I will honestly buy a 2nd set of 40s and spacebars if it will help get to MOQ.

i don't know how i feel about this set. i think i like it, but it seems kinda plain? dailyclack still has some gmk draculas available, but at a slightly higher price than the GB. this is a though decision. it's this or dracula for my 7V

I love deep purple colors, and this is fantastic! Even with the Pink-ish legends and accents. I wouldn't say they are plain, but simplistic. I don't even watch/read Accell World, but i did play MTG and this makes me happy. I think i am going to get a base kit! I haven't seen a good purple keycap kit come out that has grabbed my attention like this one did when i found it here!

I can't find the color codes used for this set. Is is possible to have them? I plan to paint a keyboard case to match this set, so I would like to have the color code to have a perfect match.

EDIT: You confirmed that the Black is CR from GMK. You also confirmed that the other colors are from SP. So I would guess RDE and RCJ or RCS?!?

Materials have been ordered and production was scheduled to finish in July. There probably won't be any further updates until it's either ready in July or we get notice of delay. I can't see it being delayed though.

I don't think it will be nearly as bad as you think. That picture looks overexposed/taken in a bright room. I mean the alphas are black but they look greyish in the photo. WoB in daylight doesn't even look that light to me. Of course, I could be wrong.

Hi everyone, im really happy to announce that GMK Black Lotus has finally started to ship out.

The group buy started a bit bumpy, especially towards the start of 2020’s nightmare, but we made it fulfillment phase! Huge props to TKC and the team for making this happen, all the supporters from day 1 from GH and other platforms.

I'm no photography expert but I received my set from the Deskhero extras buy and it definitely looks much brighter/pinker than I would have expected. I really like the set but I don't think it matches the renders very well...

It does look a lot better in person than the photos posted here. It is not nearly as pink on the lighter mods as it comes out in photos.

Yeah, the purple modifier color seems to be extremely difficult to photograph correctly, and washes out really badly on photos, even in a dimly lit room. It definitely looks significantly darker and probably half way between magenta and royal purple in person, definitely nowhere near as pink as the photos display.

The only way I can get an iPhone photo to get close to the in person shade is to set exposure to -100 and brilliance to -75. This is an approximation of what I think it looks like in person, but even then the purple still hues pinker.
