Hey all,
Now that my dust-induced allergies have subsided, I am excited to bring you a new vintage review deep From the Vault: Cherry 'Nixie' Switches. While many people these days would balk at a $1 per switch pricetag, some of the most famous Cherry switches - The Cherry Nixdorf Blacks - command a price 7x that amount these days. Do these ‘stylized vintage Blacks’ really stack up to that price, or even to modern switches in general? Check out the links below to find out for yourself:

Nice review! The Cherry G80-3494 also uses individual diodes inside the switches. It was interesting to see another keyboard with those, especially an older model. I had assumed that Cherry did that in the 3494 for n-key rollover, since it's supposedly a "gamer" version of the 3000.
