Signature Plastics / PimpMyKeyboard / Signature Plastics Transition
« Last post by SMKNGNZ on Thu, 28 March 2024, 16:23:44 »
I wanted to post a quick update on where we are with the business transition. We received numerous inquiries from both individuals and companies interested in either purchasing our business as a turn-key operation, or simply purchasing the tooling and other assets to incorporate into an existing business. The due diligence process is continuing with several interested parties and hopefully we will be able to finalize a transaction sometime over the next couple months.
I also wanted to reassure the community that we are still in full production mode and have no intention of closing the doors any time soon. It may take the remainder of the year to finalize a sale and both Melissa and I are both prepared for that. We have ample production capacity, meaning shorter lead times, and are more than willing to work directly with designers to produce and sell new keysets, or reruns of old keysets, directly through our on-line store, SPKeyboards.com. We currently have over 250 different ABS colors in stock (excess material from keysets run over the last 8 years) and will offer discounts if new or rerun designs incorporate those colors. And we will continue to send royalty payments to designers for keysets sold through our store. If you have a design that you are interested in releasing, contact Melissa at mpetersen@solutionsinplastic.com.

Bridges are creepy period since we've let our road system get into such disrepair. I live in Pgh., PA & get anxious every time I get stuck in traffic on one of our bridges. When big trucks come over & your sitting on them you can literally feel the bounce caused by the weight of the trucks!

Yup,yup The new york bridges arn't any better, traffic every morning, the whole bridge is shaking even when nothing's moving.

On the stupid interviews, they're already crying mommy saying things like, OMG this one port does half million tons of LNG a month.

That's around 1.7% of US LNG, spread across all east coast ports, that's nothing.

Drove it daily for my last job, still creeps me out thinking about it

When big trucks come over & your sitting on them you can literally feel the bounce caused by the weight of the trucks! Also when that bridge collapsed on 35W in Minneapolis years ago, I was literally driving there for work & my route was supposed to go right over it. So that has always stuck in my head too. Oh also TP, you're right. The price of everything is gonna skyrocket cause of this one whether it's something that would come through the B-more port or not. Gas already went up $0.04 a gal overnight here in Pgh......
