Finally got a chance to read through this thread. I ordered 5 sets, 1 of each color. Elton, do you realize if we hit MOQ for all colors, you're basically dealing with a quarter million caps? That's enough to swim in them.

Confused... Do you mean whether 500 is a set quantity beyond which any extras are complicated for each color?  Unsure of the meaning of your question.

Typically you don't pay until the order process is complete. There will be a deadline when the ordering process will be closed and then PayPal invoices will go out and you'll pay at that time.  It looks something like this...

5. Mass Order Submitted
6. Key Caps Produced
7. Key Caps Shipped to GB Organizer
8. GB Organizer Sorts Key Caps

Seems to me like the shipping charge from China->Toronto is pretty minimal per set. $3500+fees for 2500 sets if we hit MOQ for each colour is $1.40/set plus share of import fees. Shipping by sea will save a bit, but are people so thrown off by <$2/set that they would rather wait a month?

I'll be ordering one of each, and would gladly not have to wait an extra month.

I think time is a factor here, because there are so many its going to take weeks to sort; therefore you probably should do sea postage.

What I'm saying is that each color doesn't seem that it will reach 500 sets at the same time, therefore, are we waiting for each color to reach 500 sets before we place an order OR are we placing an order for color X as soon as it reaches 500 sets->thus repeating that process 5 times.

Conversely waiting until all colours have reached 500 would increase, at least in the short term, the workload of the dedicated GB organiser.

So it might come down to more expensive shipping for everyone, or more work for the GB organiser.

Perhaps the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Well, what I was thinking was that colors may seriously lag behind holding up a color that may have met the MOQ. I was just thinking it'd be less caps for you to package at once as well as faster return to the customer. Multiple shipping charges would suck though.

Yeah I think it's a better idea to wait for all the colours to hit MOQ then make 1 payment/shipment.  It's less work for the organizer also less shipping fee for the buyers.

Granted it might be a lengthy process but we still have time.  Be patient people we'll definitely get there

Still $1.50 spacebar, and I'm no fool, so I ordered 4 sets which... logically means 8 spacebars.

The only colours I see that MIGHT be compatible are yellow, black, and red.

I have their sample kit, so I can do a direct comparison once the Tai Hao sets are delivered.

Doesn't look like any of them are exact matches, except for black.

The WASD blue is definitely much paler.  The other WASD ones also seem somewhat more pastel.

I just placed an order. I stopped lurking and made an account just for this.

I may have to order more later if reaching MOQ's becomes a real issue. I'm actually amazed how many orders have already been posted, but this price is too good to let this GB fail.

I don't really understand what's wrong with the space bar, can someone inform me?

A typical keyboard such as Coolermaster's Quick Fire Rapid, Filco Majestouch, etc uses a 6.25x size space bar. This set doesn't include that. It includes a size 7x space bar that doesn't fit a typical keyboard. The reason being is the supplier, Tai Hao doesn't have the mold to make it.
