Thanks. Is there a chance that you have a SP DSA PBT key cap and can test if it bottoms out without hitting the LED?

Unfortunately I do not have this keycap profile on hand. But if height turns out to be a problem it's easy enough to sand/file down the top of the LED (1 mm is largely enough) to avoid this problem (I edited my original answer with that last bit of info).

sorry for the up but do rgb leds exist in 3mm package?
I'm near to finish routing an ISO 105 pcb with 4 pad THT footprint for leds so I'll be enoyed if I can't find what to put on it :/
