Best way to tent and adjust keyboardio
« on: Fri, 09 November 2018, 15:30:01 »
I recently got a keyboardio. I like it, but I need some help figuring out how to get the positioning I want. (I'm a EE because Chem and Mech aren't my thing.)

I want two options:

1. A portable configuration that lets me put it on my lap with very significant amounts of tenting and that can be packed and unpacked without having to spend significant time assembling, disassembling, and readjusting it.

2. Something for my office that functions like the ergo adjustments on this steno machine:

And here's a video that shows it from the back:

If that's not sufficient, here's something that's vaguely conceptually
similar:

Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

There was a thread on the Keyboardio forums, with lots of mounting ideas, but this other one might be closer to what you want.

If all else fails, get some Gorilla Pods. Not the most stable things, but they're kinda nice when you want to use the Model01 in your lap.

Thanks! I had seen that first thread and didn't find what I was looking for.

I missed the second one. I've ordered those flexible mount things and will give them a try and report back.

Incidentally, what do people who tent their ErgoDoxes use?
