Hey everyone - I just wanted to gauge interest in the vintage Cherry Spherical Profile (similar to DSA). I know part of our limitations at this time are that we don't have all of the molds necessary to cover many larger boards at this time, but we should have what is needed to cover smaller boards/40's/ortho/etc. I'll try to get a full list of the caps we do have available, but in the meantime if this is of interest to you please just let me know here so I can properly start to gauge interest and see if this is something we should start looking into.

The |\ key (and the ~` key) is not a modifier; it is an alpha. That's why it is colored like an alpha. This organizing principle is based on key purpose/functionality, not on an OCD-driven need for color symmetry. I prefer not to let the crazies dictate how we organize our keycaps, tyvm.

Besides, once you graduate to keyboards with more than 60 keys, color symmetry goes right out the window anyway, with the nav cluster weighing down the entire right side with mod-colored keys, and the numpad layout only half-surrounding the numbers (and period) with mod-colored operation keys (plus num lock and Enter). And then there's the alternating color blocks of F-keys, which makes no sense either functionality-wise or color-symmetry-wise. Best to just realize that the standard color/layout scheme we have is based on an ill-conceived IBM design and learn to embrace it since it's not going away any time soon.

Which vendor did you buy from? The manu will be remaking misaligned keys free of charge. The vendor should have sent communication out to you so you can let them know which of your keycaps are affected to get replaced.
Already submitted to CK. Timeline and whole process wasn’t worth the money to me even with the free replacements. Shouldn’t have been shipped.

I can't speak to this keyboard or maker specifically, but this layout is not at all exotic for Alice keyboards.  Almost all that I've seen are FRL, and many include a "macro row" on the left.  Kitting it out with nav keys is a pretty simple solution, but as long as it's remappable you can put whatever you want there.

I bought the OP18K months ago and haven’t put it down since! I do have slam-clicking here and there, but out of the 10+ mice I’ve tested it is, by far, my favorite. The “itch” to try something new completely left me after using it.

What about you?
