PLX has larger bezels on the side. I like large bezels, but I see the utility in a narrower board.
They both have simple classic designs, so I don’t think anybody stole any designs here. But you’re right, at first sight they look similar.
What else I can discern, as a n00b outsider:
Pneuma has a stainless steel base, which makes the machining more expensive. (More blunt chisels.
) PLX still has a SS weight, so it’s heavy too, but the weight is probably simpler to machine, so I suspect it’s more pragmatic.
I don’t know about the difference in typing feel - I remember about “slow rebounding gaskets” in the Pneuma, I think.
I wouldn’t mind either, to be fair. But Pneuma will be more expensive, especially because most of the rest of the world has to upgrade their money to Euros to pay. I would love a Salvun-made board, but Salvation r2 will definitely be cheaper as a first Salvun special.
