I feel that there are not a lot of GMK pink sets aside of KA2017 and Devotion (or at least those are the sets I can think off top of my head) so I've been working on this for the past month. Introducing GMK Magical Girl, inspired by the “magical girl” genre in Japanese anime culture.

Using Pantone 1767C for the modifiers, WS1 for the alphas and Pantone 190C for the accents.

Nothing is is really set in stone as of now besides the colours so it would be great if anyone that is interested can fill the IC form and add some feedback. This allows me to gauge on the interest so I can see if it will happen or not. Depending on the interest, I can move on to proper renders, finding vendors, quotes, timelines and etc.

I fear that the legends may not have enough contrast. That said I love the idea, and would probably be in for a set to give to my wife.
My first colour picks was way way lighter. I might switch the alpha to the modifier colours and vice versa and see how it looks.

The only thing that could make this even better would be Kanji alphas or Kanji sublegends plus star and heart novelty’s for full magical girl steez.

So I'll be re-working the colours a bit in the incoming weeks so it can reflect the magical girl theme.

Naming could not be better honestly.
On gmk weeb retro people also pushed for changing the name, which made the set loose a lot of its unique charm imo.
I really love the set, and while I definitely support changes, I’m scared conflicting opinions will force this to become generic.

That is pretty much the plan.

Someone suggested that but tbh, I actually prefer that over "Magical Girl". I used "Magical Girl" because it's more easier to understand without going into the whole mahou shoujo culture stuff.

*needs yellows. Remember those bright yellow stars typical of magical girls?
*needs other basic colours such as blue, green and yellow (eg, Madoka Magica characters, Sailor Moon characters, Cardcaptor Sakura styles)
