After a full day of assembly, here is my Viper.  I decided to use 65g lubed and stickered Mx blacks with the exception of the spacebar which is a 75g grey.

For anyone interested here is a link to some pictures.

Beautiful!  Great job!
Thanks! It was a really fun build!

Has anyone experienced an issue where the spacebar stab holes are 2 mms too far apart? My 7x DSA spacebar's stems are too short for the stab spacing on the PCB/plate.

I'm using a zero from a numpad as a spacebar for now, hopefully I can get my hands on some 7x GMK spacebars in the future

I am finally done! I certainly did not expect it to be THIS solid  What a great board that is.

Clears for the alphas and numbers, blacks for the mods, blue for escape and a linear grey for the spacebar. Everything is 62g, lubed and stickered. The layout is very different for me, even though I did not use the split backspace and short right shift. Coming from ISO this was already different enough for me  ;D I will install LEDs later when the 2x3x4 group buy finishes. I also did not replace the side LEDs yet because I don't feel confident enough yet. I will most likely go for a blue / teal mix. I will see how it will work out.

Also, I love these OG Cherry Doubleshots.

Very clean board, I love how it looks with the clear housing tops and the cherry keyset. That's probably how I'd want mine to look like if I had one.

Also very nice photography too! It does the board justice.

Using the default firmware, those commands are Mac-only, but your OS should have a program that allows you to map those commands anyway.
I have those set up using my window manager.

Wow no way to program multimedia in the default firmware?

All the more reason to use TMK then...

Is it really that big a deal, though?
I'm positive your media player has keybinds for those actions already.

Does TMK support the Eagle/Viper?
I might give it a try myself.

TMK can do a hell of a lot more than 02d's firmware. Currently TMK doesn't support Eagle/Viper though.

Media keys in general aren't a big deal.
But this is just one of those things that should be easy to bind in a programmable keyboard.

Define "doesn't support"...
I'm pretty sure you just need to write/edit some keymap or pin matrix files for it?

In the TMK thread and on the GitHub I asked about it, they said I should get a multimeter and build my own support.

Ahh I see. I thought it wouldn't be too complicated since it's a 60% with a fairly standard layout and people are already using TMK for Light Savers...
I'll take a stab at it if I get a little less busy at work.
