I noticed a while back that on most keyboards, including my Unicomp and Roswill, the legends on the up and down arrow keys are off-center (to the left) like this:



But on my CM Storm QuickFire Rapid and others like Das and WASD Keyboards, they are perfectly centered like this:



Why aren't all arrow legends perfectly centered?

Because Costar made them. Filco Linear R TKL is the last model(TKL) they made free from the offset problem.

Because ISO 9995 (the second-worst thing to happen to computer keyboards) mandates it.
