I happy someone trying to do something differnt with a good target price of $280 in-stock buy. This looks like a plateless mount using a o-ring around each of the 4 pcb tabs for flex as such this is not a true o-ring mount just because the design use a o-ring does not make it a o-ring mount (i.e. a burger mount use small o-rings around the screw but cannot be called o-ring either). Please change the title of your ic for currently calling this a o-ring mount does a disservice to keyboard community and other great designs that are true o-ring mount which suspend the pcb all the way around providing the the flex GLWIC.

This looks like the Hex 4B's mounting style.
Adding WKL if there is interest.

neat little keyboard
do you happen to have pictures of the bottom and the back where the port is?
Not bad
definitely beats the recent Ics and more
40% bakeneko 275
Kikkou 245 bakeneko
Ladybird 60 415 at 300u
Cringe 395 at 300u 2 piece btw
Just one of the better if not the best ICs I've seen in a while
xyz daughterboard yes
weight yes
50 units in stock for 280 (wish there was more this would sell as hotcakes and would also help out the local food bank more)
I'm against shilling/friends praising geekhack threads so much but, I do think this IC does deserve lots of praise, it really knocks the ball out of the park. Hopefully, clout won't get to your head and you can keep doing projects like this.
Great job op :thumb:

will be joining but do you have plans to expand this design to 65% too?
Based project, based specs, based PCBs by a based PCB designer, based case design everything promoted by a SUER DUPER BASED designer.
What's not to like about this project, given also that the not cash-grabbing price and the fact that proceedings will go towards a good cause, especially important in the current moment.
Really appreciate that this project is driven by passion and aims to bring a good experience to the user.
Did I already said this is based? ;D
I typed on Daal and it was good Reminded me of vintage cherry board and Felt better than IDB along with better finishing. It also looks much better than idb.
And there is the treeleaf cowering behind a rock as his tormentors approach

no way a keyboard made to not look like a brick and not designed to cost as little as possible looks better than idb??
I want daal
checking for gb info
I want daal btw
What length wire is supported for 10u? Wanna see if I have the correct length or if I must source.
One minor thing, would it be possible to move the DB back a bit so you can add a recessed area around the USB-C port so the cable looks a bit cleaner from the top?
Production units have already been ordered and this is not something I am going to change at this point. I prioritized the board looking cleaner from the back unplugged than looking from the top down plugged. :thumb:
