I don't think date of placing your order made a difference. I placed my order the day after it was available. Still haven't gotten mine

27 more days and this GB will have lasted a full year. As long as everything is according to schedule it should hopefully wrap up before then. I didn't realize until later on that the order I purchased off another member was a last minute buy, mine should probably end up being one of the last sets to be shipped.

There is no line at all, i ordered my set on day 1. Still no hyperfuse. Unfortunately that is how it works. I feel like the people who bought into it first should receive first but what do i know. Also really sucks to see people already have their sets because they were able to buy from a 3rd party, People who didn't want to buy into hyperfuse until after they could already see a finished product.

I have been hurtin' trying to get this legacy data into the new shipping* system, I am building it into the old website now. Not ideal, but i have two people over right now wrapping up sorting.

Packages will be going out tomorrow for sure and will be available for pickup in San Jose.

I should be able to wrap up the shipping upgrades to the website tonight and ship in the morning, maybe a few tonight.

Now there are some logistics to take care of as I am short on a few keys, however I will have the exact count after tonight and I'll call GMK tomorrow to get the ball rolling. This will effect a small percentage of orders.

I am sincerely sorry for lagging. I'll have a personal blog write up about the past year and hope to improve my communication skills by becoming more transparent.

So here it is an example. Each kit is packed in small bags placed in a large bag. Ready to go.



I had to slowly build up each bag, so it took a long time to get to this point because of that, but now its ready. Random bags have passed a key check.

On the transparency part just updating the OP more often and just letting the users know "hey I'm working hard and **** came up so delays are expected" etc would have been nice. Sorry if I come off as rude I'm just trying to let you know what I got frustrated with. Also I never used GH before this and I wish there were periodical updates being sent out via email to the buyers. Thanks again and I'm glad everything got sorted.

Not rude at all. It's hard looking at it from the consumer perspective.

I won't rehash everything now, but it'll all be wrapped up in an upcoming post but I will do my best personally keep you guys in the loop more.

Due to the amount of users we had to stop using mailchimp which sucked because it made mass emailing users really easy.
The new version of our website has a newsletter system in the works that I rolled myself that'll be ready soon.

Yeah there will be a few orders delayed further until we receive replacements from GMK. We'll initiate contact with GMK on Monday as I'll have all the information needed ready by then.

Totally understand that!  A suggestion from someone who's worked in ecommerce for a long long time though. You shouldn't keep talking about how you're *about* to ship then turn around and say you haven't shipped yet.  Just pick a realistic date in the future and use that for communication.  It will lead to happier customers and fewer customer service inquiries.  Additionally, just for the sake of legal compliance, you should make it very clear on the checkout form that this is a preorder and although payment may be captured immediately, the order may not be fulfilled for a year.

I do agree that our website lacks faq and disclaimers. I'd love some help with copywriting.
I got the keys from GMK at the end of July. So it hasn't been close to a year either.

All of the extra money was spent adding additional keys to the set. You can find both mockups in the OP.
I definitely learned to not sort group buys of this magnitude by myself again.
