Out of curiosity, when all the issues with your PayPal are sorted out from from the chargebacks, is there going to be openings to join in on this? Or extra sets or something, I would  gladly sacrifice a small child (and money) to get in on this. Thanks. (also sorry if I don't know properly how this works)

yeah extras will be no problem sir

Awesome! I assume you'd take orders (and list what extra sets you have) post production though, right?

if there is anything left post production, then yet

Welcome to Geekhack!

Pause and reflect - there might be a few spare sets.  Might.  Let BunnyLake know you are interested, and then see what happens :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just got a keyboard needing urgent re-dressing of it's current key-set (Razer junk) and I forgot to buy into this.  I spent heaps of money on other Group Buys but as usual the one you really want, slips on past you.

No one to blame here but oneself  :'( .

When everyone gets their key-sets you'll see endless pictures posted on here of how good it looks in their keyboards.  That will be unbearable........

Hey Elrick, you have been away for some time. Welcome back. From some of the discussion above, it seems that Bunny Lake has some extras. PM him and you can buy it from him :D

Apparently, my order got cancelled a while ago. I just found out because I ordered through my friend (didn't have a Paypal at time of ordering). Is there anything I can do about this? Was the money refunded? (Can only find a receipt right now... no mention of refund from Paypal)

edit:
Okay I got the situation clarified - my friend said he recalled a mention of the order being cancelled, but there's no record of it being cancelled on paypal or in emails. Is this because Bunny's Paypal account got suspended temporarily and everything is fixed now...? [aka I don't have anything to worry about regarding my order?]

Due to one kind Geekhacker here I just picked up Epzy's order.  Since he is now another HHKB convert this key-set was no longer needed by him.

This Toxic set will go nicely with a Razer TKL I have in my possession (please don't judge me harshly here).  It badly needs a Toxic upgrade from their original poisonous, garbage set.

The spacer looks somewhat smaller, hence I have pleaded with Bunny to also get a Spacebar Pack.  Hope something will fit otherwise I'm stuck with it.

Just wanted to try out the new style of cheapo Cherry switches being used by Razer now.  So far am liking it a lot, very fast actuation compared to any other, official Cherry switch.

I guess this sort of paypal strife is almost inevitable, the way group buys go. Eventually you will meet it if you run a few. But it still sucks greatly that a few selfish arseholes caused this.

The truth has been spoken here.  YES, there are idiots that love to stuff everyone around, simply because they CAN.  Of course Bunny is the chairman of Calm, with that typical British Spirit of always keeping an air of calm and decency.

But sometimes you need to go all 'Soprano' on some of these arseholes because that's the only way of making sure they never do it again with any other Group Buy.

This is the worst part of a GB - waiting for production to finish and the sets to be shipped out (usually to the GB organiser).

After that it's just a matter of waiting for the postal system to deliver your set, which take a considerably varied amount of time (couple of days within US, 3 to 4 weeks for international).

BunnyLake and his team are on top of this one - there is no need to panic, just have patience :)

You know, I kinda missed that hype and adrenaline while we were anticipating and waiting for this sales, what? two-three months ago? This had to be my most exciting experience in GH!

Good times. =)

I've got something out there from 6 months ago. Only reason I considered renewing my lease was to see if it showed up. Haha. Hopefully it'll get forwarded if it ever gets delivered.

That was a great time. Camping for days.

Yeah, got a few keyboards already set aside waiting for these babies to arrive.  I already know how brilliant they will look with them pimped with that Toxic magic, but now it's only pure imagination that keeps me going day by day.

Been waiting for this key-set for the longest time, and once thought I had missed out on ever getting them but BunnyLake is in charge, hence everything will be perfect  :thumb: .

This is my first group buy and I'm a little unsure what to expect in terms of time.

I know these buys take a long time for everything to get sorted. Just after some very rough estimates.
Currently Using: Corsair K65 (MX Reds)
Own: IBM Model M | Logitech Illuminated | Filco Majestouch 2 (MX Blues) [Waiting for Toxic] | Cherry D-91275

OS: ArchLinux | Herbstluftwm | Termite | Zsh
