they're OG dyesubs, they're not yellowed, it's the color balance of his picture

This is very nice and clean Khers! I love it!!

And you are right i'm a little triggered, wanted to to the same build as yours for my X60: HHKB layout and OG dyesubs. But then the asymmetry and mixing pbt with abs might kill me  :'(

Ugh i don't know what to do, i guess i'll just have to learn to live with the standard wkl layout

Thanks! Mixing ABS and PBT bothers me less than I thought. They do look and feel different however. If imsto delivers in the end, most of them will be replaced by his dyesub PBT. I wanted to use a gray backspace, but the ones I have use the backward delete symbol that I happen to loathe and are ABS so I considered the pipe backslash the superior option. With regards to the top right, I like the asymmetry of the white HHKBs, so that'll stay :D

haha yeah i agree with everything you said, its mostly the backspace/backslash key that makes the asymmetry noticecable. I would want a grey key in that position as well if i'm going to use hhkb layout, the top right key is perfectly fine as it is. Heck all of these are probably just in my mind and i won't even notice it irl. (also +1 on that backward delete symbol diss  :)))

While incredibly sexy all those TKLs could never quite convince me.
But I just had to have some compact 1800 board :D

Black TXCP with ultrasoniced and lubed 52g vbs.

Keycaps are WoB Cherry, which will be replaced by a new set and icon mods in the same colour soon.

Dismount the PCB and carefully hand file each of the LEDs to give them a sloped surface. Yeah, that's not a fun thing to do, but it would help with the clearance issues. I'd take it that they aren't SIP socketed so you can't just pull them out. D:
