Promenade

This an independent remake of my favorite keyboard layout: the Boardwalk. I added some features that I wanted in my own boards. I completed the group buy for the hotswap version of the Promenade earlier this year. This version is solder only version and features an RP2040 MCU with 32 M-bits of flash memory instead of an ATMega32u4. In addition to the 3u/6u spacebar support, JST connector, and gummy o-ring cuts added in the hotswap version, this version also features a new layout options and encoder support. For details on the hotswap version (extras of which is still in stock) please see the GB Post.

Since the key switches on the Promenade are a bit farther from the edge of a 60% compared to a traditional staggered 60% pcb, gummy o-rings may not provide get an adequate friction fit. To try to alleviate this issue there are matching M2 holes on the PCB and FR4 plates where standoffs can be inserted to stretch the o-ring.
7u spacebars can use clip in stabilizers, but other spacebar keys should use screw in stabilizers due to the stab holes overlapping slightly.
