Title: Linear Switches
Post by: jeffsui on Wed, 25 February 2015, 19:03:41
I've seen mention of a Matias Linear Switch such as on KBParadise's Facebook page.  Any details?

Mechanicalkeyboards.com looks to be getting some in early April.

This is me bottoming out lubed 35cn Matias Linears in an AEKII.

This is a Topre Realforce at the same distance from the mic.

Thoughts: Without lube, the leaf springs were a source of a subtle metallic click no matter how lightly I hit the keys. With lube I can barely hear anything at all. The loudest noise is coming from my fingers striking the keycaps themselves, then it's dead silent. These are the quietest switches I've ever used
