Title: How do back lighting keyboard cases work?
Post by: rosslerosa on Sat, 17 May 2014, 20:30:38
I wanted to know more about how to do something like this
or

From what I understand is that there are SMD LEDs which run around the bottom of the PCB, correct me if I'm wrong.
Where are the LED's connected? Is there a guide I can use to do a project like this?
Any info that can help is highly appreciated!

Some of GON's cases have a similar led ring around the case. Maybe you should ask him how he does it?

I've seen a couple where the backlit case takes the leads from the actual LED's on the switches and just extends them out the side.
