Count me in for the mailing list, and whatever back issue I missed (just Vol. 1, I believe).

I think you have my address already, but let me know if you need it again.

Yeah, do you need my address as well, or will you be asking once you ship out a batch?

2) Check your PMs :)

Updates

I've sent out everything for Vol 1 Run 2 now.

Vol 2 will be handed out at Keycon first then I'll send everyone on the mailing list their stuff.

Lately I've bought the following with donations:
- A USB drive for a surprise to the donators
- Stickers
- Stamps for maililng
- Custom rubber stamps for addressing envelopes

Here's a new logo I doodled out.

I wanted to thank everyone who's been interested in this enough to ask for a copy or to donate money. I've sent copies to France, Australia, Austria, Turkey, and other crazy international places. Every time I fill out an envelope, it's something special to me. I didn't think this would be that popular and they're going worldwide now. So thank you everyone :D.

EDIT: I've created a email address just for Tactile. Tactile (no space) Fanzine (at) gmail (dot) com. If you would like to contact through email instead of PMs, you've got options.

Needs to be a conspiracy where everyone acts SUPER disappointed in vol 2 when they first see it at Keycon..

Long overdue constructive criticism time...  The page layout is wasting a lot of space.  Check out magazines.  They use multi-column and a serif typeface to increase the information density.  Sans-serif is good for titles and signs, but not so good for long form text on a page.

Wish I could be at Keycon! :'(

I'm switching to Publisher from here on out. That wasted space thing annoyed me too.

I dunno what you're talking about in terms of fonts but I like helvetica so it's staying. This is a zine. Not a scientific paper.

Yup. I wanted to push a zine out more than I wanted to learn a new software. But I discovered like two weeks ago Publisher exists and I already have it so I'm going with that. Word was pissing me off though. Not good for something like this.

The current office too that's pissing me off is Excel.  I don't know what the heck is wrong with MS with that program.  It can only open 1 file of the same name at the same time? What kind of amateur **** is that???

I'm not really looking to put reviews in this tbh. But I could be convinced otherwise. PM me. And LaTeX is a no go for this. Perhaps you and the other LaTeX fanboys can make a LaTeX zine to convince me why it's so good ;)

Update:

Vol 2 Run 1 and Vol 1 Run 3 have been made for Keycon Midwest 2015. I'll have stickers for that too. If you're on the mailing list, I will send out Vol 2 to you after Keycon.

Got a refillable debit card and put the funds in that so donations are separated from my bank account and Paypal.

Fixed up the OP a little

Made a few new logos

Special surprise for donators activated

Legendary status achieved. My sticker now graces Sifo's DT-35. All hail.

This is basically the, everyone that doesn't like linear switches club?
tactile is a very very large scope of switch type including clicky and non clicky tactile swithes from cherry/alps/matias/gateron and many more. (Anti Topre?)

BTW Do you happen to have a link to the Sharpie font used for the stickers? New Litster designs live on @ GH in 2015 lol. #Never4GetSharpieListerKeycaps

I don't think the name relates to that.  The Fanzine is more related to building things.

Again, there will always be more older Volumes available. I just print them in runs because it makes my life easier. But I can always print more. So I'll sign you up for the mailing list and save you a copy of Vol 1 from the current run.

I highly endorse taking action shots while reading Tactile, reading it in the bathroom, starting your fireplace, or using it as emergency toilet paper ;)

I pray that you had a full roll of TP.  It would be a shame for anything -untidy- to happen to that zine.

Update:

I'll be back in the grind this week. I've got some ideas for Vol 3 and that will be my focus this week. Thank you to everyone who's offered or donated their artwork and help. Currently I'm good on the written portions but I'm considering making a Vol with all guest writers. We'll see how it goes.

Vol 2 will be printed sometime soon (read within the week) and sent out.

Edit: And thanks to all the new donators :). The thank you gifts for the early adopters will go out soon. I still need to figure out how to mail them safely. Booper has hers though ;).
