I bring to your notice that for more than three weeks 27 has completely ignored me on the issue of the return of my money (I did not receive a board).
From which I conclude that he is a fraud.
In the near future I will write a post on reddit, because there he is active.

The fact that all boards were supposed to be going out right after custom foam was made, the radio silence in this GB thread, and people sitting around without their keyboards (that they paid for) and no news on shipping/returns/packing/whatever is very concerning.

@27, please just poke your head in here, any update is better than no update, and things will only get worse the longer you ignore people.

I really appreciate him getting back to me, I don't know if I will get the shipping notification since I bought my spot, however, I hope I somehow do!. Anyone know how long it typically takes to ship?

You can get a TX87 PCB from Kin25 or any other leeku tkl PCB afaik.

Radio silence was unintentional but eventually built up into anxiety whenever I even opened geekhack.  Currently I'm sorting and sending out the final orders.  Due to a whole bunch of factors including dropped orders, damaged orders, unexpected costs, and low margins, I'm not left with very much money to work with.  I'll be getting the extras sold so that those who require a refund can get their money.

I'm really sorry for how this has gone everyone, and I've learned a lot throughout the process.

I will not be running another multi-part high cost groupbuy until I am in stable living conditions and state of mind.  Thank you for the support and kind words from many of those involved.

After all the trouble this went through, I still really like my Mech27 a lot. The very tight plate fit is a pain during assembly but adds that extra bit of firmness to the typing experience. I haven't built my Silver Mech27 with Ergo Clears yet but my Black/Linear build is really en par with other, more expensive custom TKL kits I have built!

The tight plate has definitely had some impact, but agree it gives a solid feel. I've noticed that MOD switches have a slightly thicker plastic versus Gateron and Cherry switches.

It will probably be around $5ish shipped (especially you order from Asia on, say, eBay) to get all the bolts for your kit.  I'm not saying you shouldn't have received all of them in the first place, but if there's a delay of indeterminate duration  and you want to build your board soon, it's something you can consider doing.  Fasteners are the cheapest expense on a custom keyboard, compared to everything else.

Tbh the hardware that comes with the board isn't that great.  I went to the local hardware store and got a full set of nice bolts.  That's not to say you aren't owed hardware tho.

Well the thing is, I already built the board. I just don't like it due to the visual defects.

Update from 27 on Discord. Paypal trouble with charge backs led to frozen funding for shipping the last few boards. Charge backs should be clearing soon and personal paycheck is being deposited tomorrow. More boards should be sent out soon. If you would like to contact him, use discord/slack.
