Introducing new custom keyboard - the Moon. Astonishing curve is what the Moon brings you. The moon is designed and will be manufactured by EVE - the same manufacturer of Tank and Mira. These curves requires advanced machinery and rich experiences to complete. Although what you see here is a un-finalized render, only small details will be modified.


Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion. Let us know what you like or don't like about the Moon. Also let us know what colors would you like to see. Can't promise to satisfy everyone but we will do our best to accommodate

Please keep in mind that this album is just to give you folks an idea what the final product will look like or close to. More importantly to illustrate the manufacturer's capability. I know the design is not perfectly ideal, and we are still working on it.

06-Apr-2017 Update 2:
I’ve got some great feedback from the community. And I’d like to add a few things to the prototype.

1.   The weight is not polished for the prototype, but will be for GB;
2.   See update 4 I’ll suggest Indents on the bottom case to be added for rubber feet;
3.   See update 4 At this point we are planning to use PCBs from the designer of ZZ96;
4.   ISO comptibility check;
5.   For GB we will provide as many color as possible. Different colors can be ordered for top and bottom cases as long as the MOQ for each color for either case is meet. The GB will also be available in China so most likely you’ll be fine;

23-APR-2017 Update 3:
Chinese GB has concluded for ordering earlier this week. EVE (the designer and the manufacturer) confirmed there will be a GH GB around mid May. I'll update more information in terms of Logo, USB hole and weight change, as well as more info about the PCB. Stay tuned!   

09-MAY-2017 Update 4:
A few updates referring to issues listed from previous updates:
-There will be indents for rubber feet, it will be round ones rather than rectangle, you know, like the shape of moon
-PCB will be custom designed and still pending info from the designer
-Plate definitely supports ISO, PCB-wise to be confirmed
-Different color options will be proposed for top case, bot case and plate. There will be four different colors for every part mentioned. I've asked for a list of color demo, will update once I got that
-USB hole design has been finalized, located on right side of the bot case. (CLOSELY) See link: http://imgur.com/flXYMaq
-You probably noticed that logo has also been modified from the link above, that is final
-Bottom weight will not be changed so it will remain as it was: http://imgur.com/W5SZEtn

11-MAY-2017 Update 5:
-Brass plate can be provided, but still need to work on cost and stuff.

I really like the design, specially that side view. But there's something a bit off about the top-back that's bothering me. The pronounced curve makes it look like a razer blackwidow in the back, the bane of mechanical keyboards:



Would be cool to alter the design a bit of the back, maybe chamfer the top edge a bit so it looks more like the bottom. Either way I'm pretty excited about this

The board is gorgeous.  The logo is nice, too, but I feel like the two don't go together.  This board is thick and curvy and organic, but the logo is more intricate and geometric and mechanical.

Yeah, I think the logo is great. I used to think logos added unnecessary clutter, but with all the custom boards nowadays I prefer them for easy identification, but only if they're tastefully done.

This logo is bretty gud, thankfully.

True. There are just too many TKL look quite similar to each other from the top. Although Moon is quite unique in terms of design, it's still a good idea to put up a logo/branding.

I like the unique look, very slick. I do agree that the branding is a bit obtrusive. I hope that the color selection will not be limited to the standard colors (black,silver,grey etc)

TBH they did do a great job with the design of the logo, I just more prefer my KBs to be unbranded. So it's more of personal preference thing than anything against the logo itself.

Would it be possible to get a capture of the render level with the front of the board, so we can see the profile of the sides, please?  (As if you were an ant standing in front of the keyboard.)

Can't figure out if the upper portions of the sides are actually perpendicular to level ground, or if they sweep outward.

Please do a dark/space grey color. Would be really nice, especially with the moon theme. Also a stainless steel weight option may be nice for the logo, as I'm not the largest fan of the exposed brass look.
