Normal = plastic diffuser.
Metal gasket = extra add-on option.

Pretty much, usually minor scratches and anodizing flaws

I see, thank you.

Need opinions and/or suggestions. I really want the olive green as I love green to pair with GMK Terminal but I also want to switch to GMK Laser time to time. Would Olive green match well with the laser or other key caps?

If I am getting a color which would be the safest choice? Per your experience Thank you

*PS Still new to this mech hobby

Very very minor flaws. I misspoke AGAIN. Yes there will be A-stock TX1800 v2s as well lol.

For the guy above me, I think black is the safest bet for you if you want both of those keycaps on it.

is there a way to identify what youre selecting in the site if A or B stock? Also does A stock have some defects aswell? Thanks!

It’ll clearly state which one is B-stock and which one is A-stock. Also, when you choose the variant, it’ll take you to the page with more pics of that product.

P/S: Currently figuring out the domestic US shipping plugin for PCBs. Your wallet will be safe for another 2 days LOL

well that is the reason why i ask, i guess blue is not so pupular like black for example so if popkorn62 or kin25 can tell me there are quiet a few blue ones that will be made i will not buy one of the others that will go on txkeyboards.com soon so someone that rly wants a black or whatever gets maybe that color, yeah sadly These boards are limited :/ (if not i guess i will try to get whatever color i can get and powder coat it blue)

US Customers can now order PCBs I have in stock.

10 tkl
4 cp
5 1800

This is convenient if you just want to buy pcb for now. If you want tx1800 extras too then may as well wait.

If I run out and you don’t mind the shipping fee from Kin, then you can order in the International article.

Thank you for your patience, guys.

P/S: please do not combine US and international orders in your cart. I will cancel those right away.

Shipping will be expensive from Korea to US.

so one of you can receive two persons' parcel and send other parts to the other buyer.

Kin - heckenjoni’s location say Germany, but I’d be happy to re-ship some other extras in the US if the community trusts me to do it. Otherwise I guess I will pay the shipping cost.

I haven't started putting together my TX-1800 yet (still waiting for my stabs and a few other parts). But I wanted to ask you guys for some advise on another Leeku 1800 PCB I have.
Most of t works fine, but the numpad side is giving me two key press (that key and the key below it) for some keys. I checked all my diodes and even had someone else check everything too.
I tried asking Leeku, but he never got back to me.

Thanks for any input you guys might have

How are you holding it when you test? I wouldn’t normally chime in but i just had this behavior on a pcb and was really bummed.  All of the left keys on the board would register their key plus the one above.

Turns out, I was touching a diode in the pcb with my non-testing hand.  Felt dumb, but was happy nothing was actually wrong.

Since we're troubleshooting pcbs; anyone have an idea as to why on a leeku pcb the switches or leds won't register but the rgb leds on the bottom light up and just spin in a circle? I'm assuming it's bricked. I was emailing kin about it but he just stopped replying.

Thanks for the idea, but I had flat on my desk mat that is none conductive.
From what I can tell it a hardware issue on that side of the PCB, or something messed up with the firmware (I don't really think it's the firmware since even after trying to reprogram it I was still having the same issue)

Since we're troubleshooting pcbs; anyone have an idea as to why on a leeku pcb the switches or leds won't register but the rgb leds on the bottom light up and just spin in a circle? I'm assuming it's bricked. I was emailing kin about it but he just stopped replying.

yes, its "bricked". You'll need to use an ISP, connect it manually to the 6-pin header thats on the PCB, and flash the firmware that way.

Had a similar problem with mine and got it fixed with an ISP programmer.

Sadly now the USB port looks to be broken and I have to plug the cable in a specific angle to get it working. Need to resolder the USB port but am too lazy for it at the moment.

I had the exact issue while trying to upgrade my PCB to the latest version (v171209), ended up also having to go buy an USB ASP and manually reflash the bootloader. Luckily Leeku provides the bootloader on the Jigon download site.

I have now rolled my Leeku PCB back to version 170419 and it seems to be working.

Atmel Flip should  be sufficient right? No need for Atmel Studio?

Eh... I used AVRDUDE to flash the bootloader. I'm not sure if Atmel Flip works because the MCU (Atmega32A) does not have native USB functionality. USB functionality is handed off to an Attiny85. As far as I know, Atmel Flip is only used to communicate with AVR chips that are actually USB-capable.

If you want to reprogram your borked Leeku PCB, you will need an ISP programmer. There are many many of them on the market. I just happened to pick the USBASP because there's quite a few online retailers who stock it and readily available for next day shipping in the UK. If you're in a pinch, I believe you can rewire an an arduino to do the job as well.

As for AVRDUDE, did you use the "a32" MCU call? I don't see one specific to Atmega32A (only Atmega32)? http://www.nongnu.org/avrdude/user-manual/avrdude_4.html#Option-Descriptions

It's 'm32' for Atmel Atmega32A and u32 for Atmega32U iirc

Use the pins on the PCB, they are all correctly annotated. Worth noting that if you've got a plate and switches already soldered on, the pins are the opposite way on a 6-pin ISP header, so you will have to do a bit of wiring gymnastics (or use individual leads like what the Drellin dude did). I was lazy, so I jury rigged up a somewhat dodgy looking contraption but it worked out just fine

If you have access to the topside of the PCB, the 6-pin ISP header just drops straight in

Thanks for answering the Qs!

Hopefully some jumper breadboard wires will fit!
