Yessir they just toss a burrito in the fryer, the good ones (imo) the tortilla comes out crispy if you get a soggy one thats the worst.

Most animal fat IS already saturated, but some isn't. Because unsaturated fats are more prone to oxidation, they're reduced to increase their lifetime. Most fat sources are at least partially hydrogenated to prevent them from spoiling too quickly.

Seriously though, whether it's done by nature or by mankind, the result is the same .

The best place to get chicken fried steak around here is a place called Nelson's. After all this talk, I may go there for lunch... Seriously, if you're ever in the south/midwest US, get some *good* chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Probably the best thing America has to offer. If the breading to too crunchy or salty, you got a bad one.

To confuse matters further, sometimes people refer to it simply as "Chicken fry". This term only applies to the steak and not the chicken variant even though it omits the differentiating word.

I tried it and it was like eating a thick shoe that tasted gamey.  This is the only time I've taken a single bite of fast food and threw it away.  Some folks on Youtube were able to get it down with additional sauce and curly fries on top but I just couldn't.

The Cookie Butter shake ... I loved it but my buddy didn't.  They thought it tasted synthetic but I had a more romantic notion of the flavor:

Thanks for confirming on the venison sandwich, I just don't see how it could be done well on that scale as venison is harder to cook properly than beef and fast food employees (probably rightfully so) don't give enough of a **** to do it right.

I would guess that it is about different safety standards for farm meat and wild meat.
Wild animals could have parasites and have not been processed and chilled immediately after being killed.

I used to take the popeyes fried chicken skins,  cut them up into little pieces and mix them with the cajun rice (also from popeyes).  Then sprinkle some crushed biscuit on top..

I tried putting mash potato in it as well, but it made the chicken skins too soggy, so the potato always goes on the side.
