Looks to be in pretty good shape shape, though missing the caps lock button. Not a great price, but not unreasonable given recent trends.

They will fit it, but the cap that's missing is a weird one so there would be gap sorta... but finding a replacement wouldn't be hard. I had one that was missing the huge numpad key and just asked around on here and was gave one. A lot of people grab XTs for parts.

I'm shocked no one has pulled the trigger on this board yet.

Thank you so much!  I think you may have made my decision for me, especially with that picture, lol.  I guess an 'enter' or 'backspace' might fill the gap better, but I hope I can run into some luck and get a key sent to me as well.

The photos aren't the clearest (and of course there were none of the back, where Model F flaws are usually most obvious), but I couldn't see any signs of use. I'm hoping, for you, that it's genuinely NIB.

I'm sure one of the generous peeps here with piles of "parts" boards would be kind enough to send you one of the proper stepped keys, too. Congratulations, dude!

Thank you!  It just shipped yesterday.  I'll see if I can't use it as is with a key from one of my Ms.  But if someone has a key for me, I have the shipping covered as well as a little gift.

Yep!  I'll be asking in the freebie thread once I have the board, but just wanted to put it out there in case someone else was watching this.

So I got this today and there was a thunking around in the outside box. 

I opened the box to find the IBM box nicely padded.  And then as I opened the IBM box, I understand why the keycap fell off--there's no top shipping foam!  And there was no other padded placed in the box!  So it bounced it's way all the way here--inside its box, inside another box.  The only part of this that concerned me is that the inner box didn't have any padded on the ends, so it was basically a triple box wall between the keyboard and the ground when it was on either end. 

But the keyboard itself looks brand new, even the cork feet look brand new.  And it immediately brought back memories of the crisp feel I remembered in high school some 25+ years ago.      It's definitely a much crisper feel than the M I'm typing on now (it's only 20 feet away from the XT too--siblings reunited!).

Time to find my Lynx board with my orihalcon cable and see what this puppy will do!

So I'm batting 0/2 on my latest keyboard forays not getting the ducky with cherry greens and not having the lynx orihalcon cable work with the xt.

Oh well, I guess another cable isn't too big a deal considering the fantastic condition this XT is in.
