Help me fix my "1" key :(
« on: Thu, 08 March 2018, 12:22:22 »
Hey guys, so I'm kind of a noob around here and I was starting my own project of desoldering an F87 to get the pcb and install in on a TKL lambo case which fits according to my research.

So everything was going well with the desoldering of the original switches into gateron reds until I tested the "1" key and it wasn't responsive at all, I tried to put on another switch and tested with solder to mess around and found out that there were times where the key would register when I moved the solder around the pcb but nothing happens when I click it

here are some pictures to see if anyone has knowledge on how to reroute or fix this (it's the Led17 one" BTW: It wasn't so burned before...it happened cause I fooled around too much with soldering Iron but it wasn't working when I soldered for the first time

Hello and welcome Kewin.

The left pin is wired to the diode's anode while the right pin looks like it's wired to the column.
You can try and solder according to this picture.
