Did something happen with the teals? They don't really look anything like the original pictures. They look way more green.

E6 came in, the condition is pretty good other than one tiny nick towards the inside of the case. I'll post more pics when I build it in a week or so.

I notice a little bit of nameplate wobble. Using something different than screw threads to secure it should work, but I don't really mind it.

Here's my E6-V2:

It's oozing with quality. Not a single cosmetic flaw in sight I've noticed.

I have a black and a red plate but haven't committed to either, so I haven't done any soldering yet. Unfortunately holtites are too big for the the pads (ruined my ESC key and had to bridge the trace to fix it), and I both love swapping out plate colors and loathe desoldering. I think I'm going to get another pcb and just solder it to the other color plate.

I'd either countersink the hole then screw in a flat screw, or use any properly sized screw with a round or round washer head. The second option would be noticeable if you look at the keyboard from the top, but you should have enough clearance for any switches and keycaps.

Here’s mine built! Went with 62g silent black stems in Aliaz housing, couldn’t be happier. Now if it would be possible for anyone to point me towards some instructions for flashing QMK onto here that would be great, it’s late and I’m very confused by it.

If you have QMK PCB I don't see a reason why you shouldn't use the toolbox to flash the PCB.

Ok so looking at the tiny text on the controller, the mcu is an Atmega32U4. I tried flashing with atmel flip but now it's stuck in bootloader mode. I'll use the utility linked by exlusive when I get home tonight.

e: QMK Toolbox isn't picking up on the driver. When I ran zadig to install libusb32 drivers the e6v2 wasn't named atmega32u4 or anything, just the following:

The default listing for the E6-V2 drivers is under Universal Serial Bus Devices as 0xC6-V2. I think the only thing I need is to install the correct driver. Then flashing will be easy.

You have to use QMK Toolbox and install the correct drivers. https://github.com/qmk/qmk_driver_installer/releases

If you've already added some combination of drivers, they will interfere with the QMK recommended ones.
