They're using ABS Carbon Black in the pics on the MD page. They haven't even decided on who the manufacturer will be for these PBT ones yet (Vortex or TaiHao iirc) so there is no way to tell how they will turn out. Frankly, a little silly.

Why they're even using double shot pbt for this color scheme is beyond me, I guess it's a little cheaper than IMSTOs dyesub set.

Doubleshot PBT doesn't even exist to my knowledge, unless it's with POM (see: the Vortex backlit set). I hope it's not that because that looks like garbage.

Doubleshot pbt exists I have a couple sets; one from vortex, one from tai hao(with their crappy antimicrobial coating).

The base set will probably be vortex, while the iso addon taihao. Resulting in differences and ugliness.

I really like black legends on black, next best thing to blanks I guess. I do hope that the manufacturer is kept consistent between all the PBT sets though.

I got this a month ago. I dont know why, but when i replaced my stock keycaps with this, the ping on my keyboard became so loud. Its so ****ing irritating.  When i try and run my fingers on the keys it sounds like a xylophone.

Tai Hao are not thick, but they are sturdy, and at least have consistent legends.

I would like Vortex or even to try the taihao keycaps without the coating. I'm happy as long as they don't throw that coating on. It was really terrible!

I never had an issue with Originative.    They sold several of my favorite sets including the Charred Orange and Dolch before anyone else really had them.
