Hi, everyone!
« on: Tue, 27 October 2015, 16:11:12 »
Hi, my name is Vasiliy. l'm from Russia.
I'm using my HHKB pro2 type-S at work for two years, and happy with it. Also I got tesoro tizona with red switches at home, but I like HHKB more.

Hope, i'll find out how to get some keycaps, that helps make my HHKB more beautiful!

Welcome man!  You're older to the scene then I am as I just bought my first mechanical keyboard in April of this year.

Welcome from Canada! Depends on what you want but you can find people selling keycap sets, take part in a group buy, or check out the Artisan section for sales on special caps :)

If beautifying your HHKB is a top priority then you will want to check out KeyKolectiv in the Artisan section.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Whoa - that's a long time between registering and making your first post

You have joined at an interesting time - there are a few Topre keycap makers around now, at least making small batches of modifiers, and Matt3o is designing a new RealForce keycap set that might include an HHKB compatibility option.  We can hope ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

There certainly is: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=74413.0

Sorry, I should have posted that straight away :)

You'll need to read through a few pages to see the more or less final design, but getting a bit of history of how he started is probably a good idea.
