Dear Oblotzky, I suggest you rename the Europa kit to Norde or something in that line because calling it Europa implies that it may cover most European countries, which is not the case. The name produces expectations that it does not intend.

That is solid logic, and I agree that people from south European countries are not well represented in MK group buys, maybe because so few of them include special kits for their layouts. It may be hard to say if the offering limits their involvement or their lack of participation limit the offerings.From my own experience IT sector is much more developed in Nordic countries compared to Italy and Spain, considering a lot of people in the community are either programmers or at least related to IT, it makes sense.

Could you elaborate on the decision to use two row mod text for "Page Up", "Page Down", "Num Lock". But left the "Print", "Scroll", and "Pause" keys as single row text?

Population does not directly correlate to participation. People from the Nordic region have been very involved in the keyboard hobby. I just checked the sales for the past 12 months. Orders to Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland (a combined Population of 27m) are 2.8x the sales of Spain (47m people), 4.87x if adjusted per capita. You could argue that the sets with International kits have higher sales in the Nordic countries compared to Spain as their layout is covered, but I would guesstimate that when accounted for that, it brings the factor down to 2.5x or so as sets with International kits are few compared to all the items I sell.

He said he was aiming for something between L9 and U9. Umka is definitely more yellow, so it’s safe to say it will be different.

9009 and Beta are L9. I didn’t put any U9 in the photo but it’s a bit darker, as you probably know. I’m guessing he’s shooting for something like the AT101w or pingmaster colors on the top row.
