Sorry if this has been asked before, but why aren't there ctrl alt 1,5x in row 4 profile :S  Seems like that would be a popular option, I for one hate row 5 profile and I gather that's not only my opinion.
This is another thing I cut out of the extra kit when it was too large. It's something I would consider putting back if we got 400 orders.

Honestly, most of the people I've spoken to who have tried A and B prefer A.

Mr. Potek, you have done a great job on this set.  I will be buying at the very least 1 set, ideally 2.  Let's just hope we can get some RGB action to go with it.

CB + RGBK + Cyrillic Addons all at the same time!   My wallet will regret it, but I'm stoked!

Any considerations of 1x blanks for R5 if we meet 400 orders? I'm making an order regardless, but I'm just putting this out there. Not really digging the old Windows logo. Thanks! :thumb:

Yeah, no Paypal :( I would have preferred Paypal to Stripe but can't use it for two reasons :

1. Paypal is not very friendly to the pre-order/GB system. They can and have locked peoples funds because they haven't shipped fast enough (waiting for things to be produced). Bunny had an absolute nightmare with Paypal where they locked his funds and would not let him access them until everything was shipped. That's part of the reason why he switched to Stripe and only takes Paypal payments when people need them. I would really prefer to not run into the same problems he did, so I'm using Stripe too.

2. As I said.. I quite literally cannot take any Paypal payments right now. I could not even sell any keyboards on the classifieds. In late august I may be able to, at which point I can offer payments through Paypal to those who cannot use Stripe, so don't fret if you're unable to pay through Stripe.

Really though, I would encourage everyone to use Stripe unless they are absolutely unable to. It's completely secure, you can use a debit card linked to your bank account. If you have funds in your Paypal just transfer to your bank account and use the debit card. It's really not a problem.

i will switch to stripe, but i seriously need to use these funds on PP and don't have anywhere else to do so. so i guess i'll just wait it out :)

That seems fair to me though. Shipping is a pretty important part of this process. Why should you need to withdraw the collected funds before you've even shipped out the items that people have paid for? Sounds like a good move by Paypal to prevent GB leaders from just taking the money and running. The buyers are putting a lot of trust in one individual party, after all.

This looks like a really cool set, but between not allowing Paypal and the buy taking 6+ months to even begin, I'm honestly hesitant.

Well.. How does a group buy work? You collect the funds, then these funds must go to the company that is producing the product. What if this money is unrelated to this group buy? What if this money is to pay for shipping the products to your house? What if the account gets locked before he can even pay for part of the products? You want him to use his own money? Most group buys aren't profitable, all the money put in is used in some way, so if they cannot use the money, you cannot expect them to finish the group buy.

You definitely have to be very patient when participating in a GMK group buy! But if you want to have beige ANSI caps this will be an easy option beside searching for a nice used set.

I don't think you fully understand the GB process. The GB organiser needs to withdraw the collected funds in order to pay the manufacturer. This is before anything even reaches the organisers hands.

This.

But hey it's risk and reward - group buys are basically the only real channel to get your hands on GMK. If you're that worried about people running off with your money you can just stick with boring normal keycaps :p

They aren't. I decided against them because it would make shipping far more complicated and expensive. Also, I'm glad I didn't, since the recent TA orders have proven that they aren't really any safer than regular zip lock bags.

All orders will come pre-sorted from GMK in zip lock bags. We'll ship them in sturdy boxes with padding :)

Can we buy trays separately?

Yes, this please. I knew the TA wouldn't go so well with the trays. Or at least I thought how strange they must be to be shipped that way. I want the dank bags to be used for shipping, but would love GMK trays for sale.

I feel like the buying separate trays would have been something a bit earlier in the IC, as all the shipping has been figured out now. Maybe someone will do a GB for trays or something.

One big plastic tray to organize the smaller plastic trays.  Big tray opens during transit, little trays bump n collide.  Little trays scratched and RIPed.  :(

Wonder if it will actually pull through, there's a bit of drama going on. Maybe someone makes a separate gb. not sure what the MOQ is on these.
