Any update on Gmk Heavy industry?

Not GMK per se, but we have a sample coming in soon!! Hopefully in the next week or so :) I'll post some pics when it arrives  :-*
JTK Heavy Industry

Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk

I would be totally down for JTK Heavy Industry.
Honestly, after seeing their fixed legends, which mind you some are fixed, I'm just still not impressed. The m60 is a premium kit. It's not your run of the mill tray mount GB that pop up every now on them on GH. I've already spent $400 on the kit now, I would much rather spend another $110 on a gmk set than $70 on a JTK set (keeping in mind these won't be full sets hence lower prices listed).

Anyways, this is all conjecture I guess, has Rama even confirmed that it was JTK?

Isn't the title of the keyset at https://rama.works/#/gmk-heavy-industry/ "GMK Heavy Industry"?? Maybe remove the "GMK" text from the title if the set isn't going to be GMK to avoid confusion.

That is a variation of it, the new one is actually very different with the legends etc, so will be leaving that one for now :)

Also, will have the prototype packaging arriving early next week, will have photos then!

Will the firmware for the M60-A be available on GitHub?
I've at least found some firmware for the M6-A (https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/rama) that also hints to the M60-A being listed there sometime in the future.

So is there any plan on when this will happen? Would be awesome to have the ability to fully customize the keyboard.

Yes, the PCB design is based on the Zeal60 (which uses QMK) and I'm in the process of refactoring it and getting it into QMK master branch.

Right now, it's still in my QMK fork here: https://github.com/Wilba6582/qmk_firmware/tree/zeal60

Maybe
But then again I would like to know the answer

I write in two languages and use graphic software and a lot of keyboard shortcuts. So I need a few layers.

Since it runs QMK it should support up to 32 layers

with it being based on the zeal60, is it going to use the scripty configuration method (vs the "normal" QMK build-your-keymap method)?

I compile and program my zeal60 just like i do any other QMK board. You don't have to use the script downloaded from zeals website

Potentially at some point, but won't be for a longgg while - and most likely not in the same colourways.

Will there be any extras as there were with the m65-a? Or No? My GF is coveting my dusk m60-a and I was thinking of trying to find either a Lake or the green (blanking on the exact colorway) to pick up for myself.

I have the feeling it might be DCS? Seeing as Rama has worked with Signature Plastics before, and that DCS is somewhat similar to Cherry profile, it wouldn't seem that crazy to me.
