It seems like so, but does that mean that the original GMK Heavy Industry would be abandoned?

At least for now you can make a clone that might look close to it.

You'll need GMK Oblivion white alphas/GMK Honeywell alphas and Oblivion Monochrome modifier kit.
The yellow accent (fn, ctrl) if you want it, you can use yellow keys from GMK Serika later when it shipped.

:O Hell yeah, that would look awesome!! Now to buy all those kits :D

But yeah, PBT version is underway, we're just awaiting a second sample with a few fixes :)

I saw that, just wasn't sure if the individual boxes would all be boxed in that or if that will just contain the main case.

Hey, yeah! So the M60 enclosure is in that main box that Kerasan posted, then the accessories are encased in a foam insert which is placed above the main box :) This will all be inside a main shipping box that we've custom made to fit everything snugly :)

Getting closer! Will provide production updates as they come !

RAMA,

Seeing all of this unfold is very exiting, you guys have done amazing work and it's obvious a lot of passion has gone into this (as with all of your projects) — September can't come soon enough!

If I may ask one thing in regards to this photo:

My apologies if this is a silly question, but is there not a risk of the PVD coating getting scratched from rubbing against the packaging?

Also that second pic... Are you cheating on the Xiaomi Wiha with iFixit? :p

if it were so fragile, nobody would wear watches with a PVD coating. however it is a legitimate question. from my experience with the pvd there is no such risk.
if you see any unboxing of Rama products, each piece is always wrapped in a protective membrane.

Not a silly question! The hardness of the PVD coating is much higher than the plastic so it will not scratch it - however we will be doing some significant testing and throwing around to double check :P

Hahah! Of course not, the Wiha is still my favourite - using the iFixit for the bigger hex screw (Wiha didn't have the right size  :-[ )

Honestly, I don't know if I'm more excited for the M60a or for the new stabs in development.

Yeah, I'm super excited for the stabs too, super fun to mould new things :D Keen to test the next proto when it arrives so can quickly move to production!

Yeah — the 3mm hex is the one bit missing from the Wiha kit for me. I wish there was one included.

Not Rama, but I doubt it. He's still in development stage. Personally, I'd rather it come out a bit later and have it be closer to perfect. Hopefully pricing won't be too bad either. Would be nice to have an alternative to zeal stabs which are almost prohibitively expensive. Also, since the M60 is hotswappable, it shouldn't be too big of a deal to throw the stabs in when they do come out.

Yep, all correct there! Development will be a little longer on the stabs so we won't meet it in time for the M60-A but it is super easy to swap out new ones when the time comes :)

I could be wrong but I believe atmega32u4 chips don't support USB c to USB c connections since they solely use USB 3.1. So the pcb won't recognize that port when plugged into a computer.

I could be wrong but I believe atmega32u4 chips don't support USB c to USB c connections since they solely use USB 3.1. So the pcb won't recognize that port when plugged into a computer.
So far as I know the usb - A and C port size and form is usb-version agnostic, it depends what wireing the cable has. So usb 2.0 or 3.0 cables can exist in a form of usb-c.
But I might be wrong, or I just don't get the problem you are referring to.
